Hampton House Guest House — Hotel in Gauteng

I've stayed at Hampton House before, a few times actually and I'll be back again for sure!||||Friendly, welcoming, helpful... home away from home and best of all, centrally located with quick access to the motorway. ||||The rooms are cozy (heaters & AC's ensure this in winter time) and the bed... just love getting into this bed after a long flight. It's lush, deeply inviting and with the heavy feather duvet, the perfect place to be comfortable and warm.||||Expect tranquility, decent internet, fantastic breakfast, great toiletries (they are also for sale) and the best is the little nougat bar on your pillow - delicious!||||Certainly an easy venue...

We were so happy that we booked at Hampton House as it was a very special stay for our family as we used two rooms. Both were unique and with attention to detail. We could sit outside in a group and catch up with friends in the peaceful lush garden. Service from Liezl & Emily was excellent and they made us feel at home since we entered the guest house. The atmosphere at night with lights in the garden and pool is so calming. An oasis in the city. The rooms are equipped with the best beds, linen, towels, amenities etc. Charm all around. This was our first stop after arriving in Johannesburg, and it was the perfect place to rest before heading north the next morning. It was a cold July night, but the heated blanket made it wonderfully cozy, and the hot shower felt almost like a hammam — such a treat!||Many thanks to the welcoming host — we were even able to use the kitchen to heat up our dinner late in the evening.
