The new, upgraded complex is stunning. The parking is still a nightmare, but the building is beautiful. The old, comfortable feel of the trusty Spar has been replaced by the new, sparkly and somewhat cold design that all Spar have. There is nothing that makes this Spar stand out like it use too. Let us hope the bakery is still as wonderful as always...this should bring that homey feel to this new improved Spar. The products are always of top quality and the new addition of vegan, vegetarian and kefir products are a welcome addition. The frozen section was defrosted last time I visited. Other than that, the shopping centre offers a wide variety of shops. It would be grand to see another coffee shop and clothes shop open up. The pharmacy is wonderful and the upgraded Wimpy and Nandoos...

Been to the Spar several times and is definitely one of the bigger and better stocked Spars in the area. Didn't have "hot dog buns" on that day when I went which was odd considering there is a bakery in house. The floor was a bit dirty around the deli section, hopefully due to them being very busy. I would suggest that management get more trolleys/shopping carts and baskets as there were several of us that stood at the entrance waiting for a basket or trolley. Also saw people just carrying their goodies in there arms due to lack of baskets or trolleys/shopping carts. The fact that the shoppers were willing to go ahead without a trolley or basket would probably indicate that they were will to overlook this inconvenience for the sake of...
