Very disappointed. I was dropped off just past 7am Saturday the 1st of October 2022 near the post office area it self with a couple of bags and was busy making arrangements for a place to stay. I was sitting next to my belongings. A security guard approached me and informed me that I am not allowed to sit there and wait, I stood up, he then informed me that if I am waiting for a Uber or Bolt that I am only allowed to wait at the entrance to Checkers. I have waited at different areas all around Blueberry Square for pickups previously and I conveyed that to him, so I could not understand why I was only allowed to wait at the entrance to Checkers. He insisted that I must leave and that I am not allowed to stay there. I refused and told him that I want to see the manager of Blueberry Square and the document that states the rules and regulations of Blueberry Square stating that I am not allowed to wait there. He refused and said that he saw the paper saying it and that if he says so it is so. I told him that I do have the right to see the document, which anybody visiting Blueberry Square does have the right to. He left and later returned on a golf cart with, which I assume was his supervisor. He told me that I was not allowed to wait there, I also told him that I want to see the document stating that I am not allowed to wait there. He than told me that they will throw me off the premises and I still insisted on seeing the document, at that time I still was busy arranging accomodation at a guest house, they drove off. A bit later they returned and he told me that he will give me one hour as the shopping centre only opens at 9am and I must be gone within that hour. Within that hour a armed security guard drove up to me and I had to show him on my phone that the bolt driver was on his way to pick me up. Me and my fiance have been supporting Blueberry Square since it opened and we have spend thousands in the shops there. This treatment is very disappointing and disgraceful. Where as previously I had a smile when going to Blueberry Square, now I rather go to another shopping centre that is further away and will only visit Blueberry Square if I do not have...
ย ย ย Read moreI'm a canine behaviourist, I use my well trained & well socialized dogs to assist owners & dogs overcome various behaviours & fears. I try not to stop at a store when I have one of my dogs with me, sometimes it does happen that I need to get something. This morning, I had one of my dogs with me & wanted to get Starbucks for a client who is going through a difficult time. Unfortunately Starbucks coffee machine was malfunctioning. While the Barista was trying to get it sorted out, I took my dog out the car & stood on the pavement in the shade, as it was 30 degrees outside. I didn't go into any of the stores with him.I was told that I need to put him in the car, I can not have him outside. I tried explaining the it's not safe to do that, as I don't know how long it's going to take to sort out the Starbucks issue... The response was that he doesn't care, the dogs not allowed in the parking area. I've on a number of occasions seen other people walking with their dogs in the same are I was, so what is the difference. If my dog was unruly or aggressive I would understand people having an issue with it. What happens if someone with a service dog needs to stop there ? I used to stop at Blueberry square 5 days a week to get a quick cold drink, or drive through. I will not return to the centre & will tell everyone I work with or meet me er to support this centre with...
ย ย ย Read moreVisiting this shopping center was a mixed experience, but ultimately a rewarding one. To start with the downsides, finding parking was quite a challenge due to the high traffic, and it took some extra time to secure a spot. However, once inside, the diversity of shops and eateries offered a pleasant surprise.
The shopping center truly caters to a wide range of interests. From clothing stores to electronics shops, it seemed like they had it all. I particularly appreciated the variety of food options available. There were numerous restaurants serving different cuisines, and it was a treat to explore the culinary diversity. The family-friendly atmosphere was evident, with many families enjoying their time together.
What really stood out was the cleanliness and well-maintained appearance of the center. It's clear that the management takes great care to provide a pleasant environment for shoppers. The public spaces were tidy, and I saw staff actively cleaning throughout my visit, which was reassuring, especially in today's times.
Despite the initial parking hiccup, the overall experience at this shopping center was positive. It's a one-stop destination for shopping and dining, suitable for families and individuals alike. With its wide variety of shops, restaurants, and a commitment to cleanliness, I'll definitely be returning for my shopping needs and...
