Beautiful custom made piece to my exact specification. Absolutely stunning. Exceeded my expectations. The service. Unbelievable. After deposit was paid, it took 3 months with only 2 text communications in that whole time. And one was initiated by me. Not one picture of item. Only told its not ready. Nothing I can do. It's the factorys fault. There were circumstances out of their control, but not a word explaining why it was taking so long. I had to chase them. This is after putting down a R6500 deposit on 11 March. I was to be away on holiday and returning to work on 8 May which is why I paid and ordered item Waaay in advance to be sure it would be ready. I was eventually starting to wonder if it was a scam. When it was FINALLY ready, I contacted shop to inform them delivery was scheduled for Monday. (3 DAYS TIME) I hear nothing for 3 days until 45 MINUTES before delivery collecttion was due, to tell me to settle balance. I was not at home and had to and luckily managed to access my password which was not saved and was able to make the eft. With custom made furniture of that quality one would expect service to match. Owner seemed surprised I was livid. Hideous service. So unimpressed with the couldn't give a sh*t attitude. On the plus side the delivery gentleman she recommended was an absolute pleasure...

Bought 2 x expensive Baby Compactums from My Room. They are really great and I think they make great looking furniture. But if something goes wrong good luck resolving it with them. Judging by the other reviews it's not just me. One of the compactums looked like swiss cheese on the inside of the drawer. We only noticed when we got home. It costs about R80 in fuel to drive there. So I asked them to reimburse me R50 to fill the holes. Seems reasonable right. But they insist I drive back to replace it or fetch wood filler. Mistakes happen, but it is how you resolve them with customers that matters. Terrible...
