I wanted to give this restaurant a glowing review, as my initial experiences were fantastic. However, my latest order has completely changed my perspective.
Sadly, the issue wasn’t even with the food itself but with the delivery process.
I placed my order through their website at 4:40 PM, as I’ve done before. By 5:12 PM, I received an email saying the food was on its way, which usually means it will arrive in 5-10 minutes. However, by 5:40 PM, I still hadn’t received the usual tracking SMS. When I called the restaurant, they insisted the food was already out for delivery and would arrive in “5-10 minutes.”
By 6:16 PM, I called again to follow up. They claimed the delivery service had my contact information and would call me, but no call ever came. Finally, at 6:24 PM, I received a tracking SMS, showing an estimated delivery time of 6:35 PM. To my surprise, the tracking system indicated my order was only placed at 5:35 PM—nearly an hour after my actual order time.
The food finally arrived at 6:56 PM, a staggering 2 hours and 16 minutes after I ordered. Unsurprisingly, it was cold by the time I received it.
While the food here is undeniably delicious, the restaurant urgently needs to reevaluate its delivery partner and take accountability for these delays. I really hope they can address these issues because, despite this experience, their food quality deserves...
Read moreOrdered take out with Mr D. Waited the 52 min as mentioned on the app. Was excited to taste the food as it looked great. What a total disappointment. We were literally unable to eat the meat. It was completely dried out. We ended up eating the noodles and rice which came with the dishes. I called the restaurant today and they apologized but also said I received what I ordered (crispy chicken) and perhaps next time I should order something else. Don't get me wrong; I love crispy chicken and I always order it when I order Chinese food. But never in my life have I experienced any Chinese food this bad. It was like eating Biltong with a dried out batter. There is a huge difference between crispy and completely dried out due to overcooking. I won't...
