I broke my phone (iPhone X) while on holiday - water damage, which resulted in my screen not working anymore. I went to this place because of the many good reviews. Boy, was I wrong.
The short version: They told me they could deliver a premium quality screen with original features. I had to find out myself when picking it up this wasn't the case and then had to explain to the engineer what True Tone was. Then I had to wait 5 days for a refund of a credit card charge of €180 they claimed had failed to charge. I was lucky to check my statement to make sure. A different repair shop (not on Tenerife) was able to repair the phone in 30 minutes, including True Tone.
The longer version: They told me I'd get a premium screen with all original features (they even told me it was 'original', but many more store claim premium screens to be OEM, so i'll let that slide).
When I got the phone back, I checked to see if True Tone was enabled (something that is often missed in low-quality repairs). Turns out; it wasn't working. When I asked the engineer, his response baffled me; "True Tone? What is that?" - After I explained (I showed him on a phone of one of his colleagues, he claimed that it "probably didn't work because the water damaged the sensors". When I asked him if he programmed the new screen (which he should), his answer was 'no'. After that, I kindly asked them to put my old (broken) screen back on. (I also doubt it was an OLED screen, they told me it was, and I didn't verify, but the clarity wasn't great. This is just speculation though).
Because I trusted everything would be fine, I already gave them my credit card to charge while I was testing the phone. When I told them I wasn't okay with the repair, they said the charge on my credit card had declined so a refund was not needed. I believed them in the moment, but something didn't feel right, so I checked my credit card statement that afternoon. You've guessed it; my credit card was charged for the repair. I dropped them an email that afternoon telling them something must have gone wrong and requested a refund.
4 days later; no response (to be fair, there was a weekend in between Thursday-Tuesday). I dropped by the store again, where I was told "they just send me an email 30 minutes ago". When I checked my email, I did indeed have one. But it was timestamped after I left the store. This can be an issue with the mail provider or something of course, I can't be sure. I doubt it though since it isn't the first time I had to go to the store to get a response to a question I sent days before. Also, the email contained no text/response at all, only some images of my broken phone, which seems very odd as a response to a customer asking a refund. You would at least expect a reply confirming they refunded the charge or something (I did request the photos by the way, so I'm thankful for that).
When I brought the phone to another shop (not on Tenerife), the screen was fixed in 30 minutes, including True Tone functionality. Without being told this backstory, the repair guy asked me if I opened the phone myself because he could see it had been opened before and the person that did that damaged the phone a little prying the screen off...
So to sum up; poor quality, they make promises they can't keep (They probably hope people aren't knowledgable enough to notice), very low response times over email (2-4 days in 3 occasions) and I suspect being lied to as well.
I did get my refund, though. So there's that. No. Would not recommend.
I still stand behind what I wrote about my experience, but am happy to see there's somebody running to shop who cares. I've changed the rating to 2 stars...

I have been in IT for years and always fixed my Dad’s PC, but it went wrong when I was away, Windows 10 wasn’t booting properly and going very slow, so he took it into these guys. Firstly, it took them a week to “fix” it, when in reality it should have taken 1-2 days, secondly after a few days they rang him up asking for his Windows 10 license key, now anyone who knows anything about computers knows that virtually all Windows 10 machines have a digital license so there is no license key whatsoever. This is also very easy to determine to an IT guy, but obviously my Dad didn’t know what they were on about so they said they would get him one for 20€, this was a lie, they did not buy a new license key! It did not need a license key and they did not buy one either, they just charged 20€ for nothing.
So now on to their “fix”. Within 3 weeks of my Dad getting the PC back it had exactly the same problems as he described before. So I had a look at what they had done, which was very little. All they had done was a reset of Windows, this basically takes less than 10 mouse clicks and charged 30€ for that! Also, when you do a reset of Windows 10 it does not ask for a license key even if Windows was originally installed with one so there was never an opportunity for them to use this alleged license key my Dad had paid for.
In the end I fixed it myself, properly, and it is going better than ever now.
Overall Charged 20€ for a non existent and not required Windows 10 license key. Charged 30€ for a quick fix that rarely works properly. Took a week to do a 1-2 day job If I could give 0 stars I would,...
Read moreWee shout out to BGR solutions based in Los Cristianos. (Shopping centre just down hill from paradise park hotel). Wife's phone went on blink the other day. Battery was swollen and phone is then dangerous to use. Searched in this group for suggestions on where it could have battery replaced and found several recommendations for this company. Took phone into them on Monday, they confirmed battery was the problem and offered to replace it for 60 euros. Left phone with them and they ordered a new battery in as they did not hold one in stock for a Google pixel 6. Received message on Wednesday morning to state phone now repaired. Really pleased with quality of work, the speed of repair, the customer service and the price charged. Would definitely use them again and have no hesitation in recommending...
