My wife and I stayed at this hotel for just a week, and frankly, we were looking forward to it being over. We didn't enjoy our stay. We specifically chose a 4-star hotel to have a minimum guaranteed level of service, but our expectations were not met. The electronic room key is attached to your wrist, but the strap has a sharp edge that scratches your skin while sleeping or showering; you have to constantly turn the strap around your wrist so the sharp edge is facing outward. The room was perfectly adequate, except for the fact that the air conditioning didn't work. We had to sleep with the balcony door open, although fortunately the weather permitted it; the nighttime temperature was around 20°C. However, another problem arose: the extremely loud music and the singers' voices from the bar carried throughout the neighborhood, making it difficult to fall asleep until 11-11:30 PM, even though we're used to going to bed much earlier. If you close the balcony door, the musical noise penetrated through the front door from inside the hotel. The room was cleaned, towels and bed linens were changed regularly, and there were no issues with housekeeping. Overall, the hotel is very clean. The restaurant has a very varied menu with plenty of appetizers and a limited number of main courses, but it's difficult to find tasty food, as most dishes are bland or prepared using odd recipes. How would you like BBQ pork ribs that, after being fried, were simmered in a runny sauce with a lot of water? Or natural berry or peach juice generously diluted with water? Entrecôte steak fried to the point of being difficult to cut? Or the same dried-out bacon that crunches like potato chips when you eat it. The list of strange or tasteless dishes goes on and on. But thankfully, there was a variety of fruits and sweets. Please note that the juices with added sugar and citric acid from the machine that you could drink for free in the morning turn out to be £2.20 per 185ml glass in the evening, while the waiter speaks to the hotel guest as if he were a misbehaving 10-year-old boy. The other waiters in the restaurant are smiling, polite, and eager to help, so, thankfully, this waiter's behavior is not a general rule, but rather an exception to the rule. In general, I would say that the restaurant staff tried to compensate for the shortcomings of the kitchen by offering a large variety of snacks, fruits, and sweets. The hotel has some issues with the lighting system; when you leave your room, it's a dark corridor, and the dim lighting only comes on after you've walked a few meters down it. The lighting in the restroom near the restaurant on the very bottom floor is even more annoying. A few minutes after entering the restroom, the lighting goes out completely; not even the emergency light comes on; there simply isn't one. In pitch darkness, it's impossible to even open the stall door, let alone find the front door. Thankfully, after a five-minute wait, a guest entered and the light came on. Apparently, the light sensor is located near the restroom entrance door; it's strange there's no backup sensor above the stalls. Given the above, one can conclude that the hotel is more geared toward young people and children; they'll appreciate this type of cuisine and lifestyle. In any case, my wife and I will try not to stay at this hotel again, as after such a "vacation," we need some rest!

This is my second time staying in Paradise Park, we originally visited in 2021 and found it suited us perfectly, so when my boyfriend & I wanted a semi-cheap winter sun break it was my first choice. We stayed all inclusive as we wanted as much time as possible to just relax and chill, and weren’t too fussed about eating out. However, there are a plethora of bars, restaurants and supermarkets if you do choose self catering or half board. That said, the food itself is what you’d expect from an all inclusive - no michelin star but there’s so many options you are bound to find something you’d eat. There’s a seperate gluten free station (although sparse, it’s a better effort than many other hotels I’ve been in!), along with plenty for veggies/vegans and plenty of kid-friendly foods. My boyfriend was very happy to see ‘English sausages’ at the breakfast buffet and ate about 5 a day. Similarly, the drinks are fine - self serve soft drinks, beer/wine, sangria and hot drinks. Other alcoholic drinks you have to ask for behind the bar, and there are quite a few cocktails on AI (scan the QR codes dotted around the bars/pools to see full menus). The bars were never busy, busiest in the nighttime where entertainment took place, but even then it was a minute or two wait to be served. All the staff are super friendly, especially the bar staff who are happy to have a joke around. We didn’t have any issues during our stay so didn’t interact much with reception or the customer service team, but I imagine they would be just as helpful as everyone else. The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily, you can smell the cleaning products as soon as you walk in which is always a pro in my book! Towels were replaced every other day and beach/pool towels were available to rent from the hotel (not sure if there is an extra cost to this as we brought our own for the pool). The pools are probably the most attractive part of the hotel, with 3 adults only sections (one on the rooftop, one with the ‘natural pool’ just up from the main pool area, and one on an upper level in the leisure park - although we did find the latter area often had children, which didn’t bother us really but just be aware the adults only areas aren’t strictly policed.) We enjoyed the leisure park the most and found it the least busy, surprisingly. It is slightly hidden away outside of the actual grounds, but the main pool is huge & there are more than enough sunbeds to go around. The pool bar here also does snacks, so you really can hunker down and spend the whole day in the leisure park if you wanted to. The entertainment of a night is fun, the performers are not the best in terms of talent, but the vibe is excellent. We preferred the downstairs ‘4everfun bar’ - it was definitely more of a nightclub vibe and very loud, so if you prefer to chill of a nighttime and play some cards etc the upstairs bar is definitely more suited for you. Both the bars were never full, but lively enough to not feel dead. The location and free shuttle to the beach is amazing. We did walk down to the beach and it was definitely a good walk, so would recommend waiting for the shuttle if you can’t handle a 30-40 minute walk up/down hills. Overall, we would definitely return to paradise park! What you see is what you get - can’t fault it!

We came here in 2024, it was that good we came back for this years holiday. The staff are fantastic, very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Alfonso was extremely good with us (& he never asked us to do a Google review, but Katy did even though she was never in our part of the restaurant for any day or night- she came over JUST to do a review and make sure we put her name - she didn't even clear the table!). One thing that wasn't as good as last year was the poolside music: last year it was on all day every day unless they were doing water mat, water aerobics or water polo. This year it was on, it was off. The music was up, it was down, it was on, it went off, back on (if they remembered after having the big speaker on for activities) & it was very club dance rather than pop. They keep the hotel communal areas and bars extremely clean. Also the restaurant staff who check your room number on entry were all very cheerful and polite. You should be proud of your staff, they represent Paradise Park superbly. Bar singers: Bobby H was fantastic, fun, great voice and choice of songs. Elton John very good. Comedy Elvis we saw last year - he's still as good and funny this year. One thing a lot different from last year was that 4Fun bar was packed every night & all the best seats taken: last year the 1st floor Bar was the most popular. Our room had a fantastic pool & sea view. My partner is celiac so the main reason we come here is because there are lots of suitable food available & love the gluten free San Miguel. Most of the soups were very enjoyable & fantastic fresh fruit selection. Also the female singer from Italy that sang next to the main pool was really good, she sang old party tunes and was very good with the crowd.

Staff are lovely and the hotel is clean.

The hotel food leaves a lot to be desired but there is a wide range of food available at breakfast and dinner time so you will probably find something you like- although the quality wasn’t the best. The decor is strange and a lot of it looks like it needs some TLC- peeling wallpaper or scratches/dirt on the walls and signage.

The most disappointing thing about the hotel is the strelitzia bar and pool snack bars. I ordered a sandwich from strelitzia and it arrived burnt, completely black and inedible. When served to me, the sandwich was flipped upside down, so the burned side wasn’t visible. But I could actually smell the burnt bread which led me to realise what was on the other side. We didn’t complain as we were in a rush to leave and didn’t have the time, but I would have rather been told that they couldn’t make me what I ordered than be given something inedible. We also visited the pool snack bar on the resort side, but the buffet style food was swarming with flies. I don’t doubt that the staff keep on top of their hygiene, but perhaps there should be something in place to prevent this.

The pool areas of this hotel are wonderful. We didn’t realise until our second day, but there is an entire second half of the hotel you can only access through a gate across a small street. It is called the leisure park, or parque de ocio. I reccomend asking staff if you can’t find it- it is twice as peaceful as the main pools, has its own snack bar (okay for drinks but avoid the food as explained) and it has interactive buttons in one of the pools that set off waterfalls and jacuzzis. You can sunbathe in the centre of the larger pool, which was our preferred spot. Once we found this area we were there every day- it’s a bit hidden but that’s a good thing if it keeps it peaceful. The pools were lovely and clean and they offer towels at the spa for a €10 deposit which is returned at the end of your holiday when you return your towels.

The air conditioning in our room was very poor. We have looked at reviews for this hotel, and some say it works well, whereas others have had the same experience as us- it barely functions. We found that we had to leave a piece of card in the electrics switch all day, close the blinds and close the door for it to reach a comfortable temperature. This made it just comfortable in November- but unfortunately air conditioning is a dealbreaker for me and for this reason I would not return in the summer months. It seems some rooms may have better air conditioning than others though. If this is a big problem for you I’m sure the staff can help.

We visited for my birthday and I was kindly left a bottle of champagne and a bag of sweets. This was a lovely touch as this wasn’t requested, they must have just flagged my DOB at check-in.

The room cleaning service was lovely and efficient. Towels replaced daily if you need.

The location is good if you don’t mind a bit of a walk. It takes 25-30 minutes to get to los cristianos beach/town and about 45-50 to get to las americas. There is a free shuttle bus down to the town every hour, but it is one way, which is a shame- it’s quite a hill on the way back, and that’s when the shuttle bus would be a lot more useful.

Overall this hotel was a pleasant stay but I think it requires some improvement. I will say it didn’t really feel 4*.. but it is a family hotel. We didn’t travel with children so can’t comment on what it would be like for that but the entertainment looked lively and it seems like a better hotel for families than for a luxury stay.

I wouldn’t stay here again unless it was a good deal because I have stayed in better hotels for the same sort of price. I would recommend the hotel if someone was interested though- though I wouldn’t recommend all inclusive or even half board unless you spend a lot on drinks. The location was also a bit frustrating by the end. The staff were amazing though and I want to say thanks for making our stay lovely. And our balcony view was AMAZING!! Sea and pool- not...

I have just got back from this hotel which was our first visit. Here's our story. When we arrived we were given the incorrect room, not sure why but the staff sorted it by the next day as we did arrive at night time. They moved all our stuff over to the new room. The staff are lovely and so polite and very helpful, from cleaners, to reception to lifeguards to kitchen staff. All fantastic, not forgetting the porters too. Around the pool in the day you'll quickly find out that you need to be in the queue by around 8:30 if you want a lounger. Its fills up fast for the pool opening at 9am. But once you have your spot. You're set for the day. Pool bar, snack bar up stairs. The entertainment around the pool was great., bbq, falcon show, inflatables. (These change each day) but there's always something. I agree with some other comments about opening the adult pool to all, simply due to loungers being limited. It would allow more space, that said, it would need another lifeguard as one guard wouldn't be able to manage both pools properly.

There is more space in the pools across the way but there's no entertainment on that side. Tend to find more adults and older kids across there.

There are 2 kids clubs throughout the day around 11-1 and 3-5. Limited places pending the amount of staff they have on.

The night life is a little dated for me and the little one still playing music like agadoo in the kids disco where most of the kids want something a little more modern. For the adults, again, music is still dated and there's nothing new. Now I don't mind some of the classics, but its like going into a labour club 35 years ago.

The breakfast bar was spot on, didnt really eat lunch so can't comment. And the tea(dinner) was good too. All cooked in front of you and tasted great. The deserts were fantastic too.

I have booked to return next year (2026) already as it was just great.

As others have noted, its up a bit of a hill, so if you have mobility problems, maybe hire a mobility scooter. Don't let the location put you off too much. They have ramps and lifts everywhere so you should be okay. (But speak to the hotel first)

If you're a smoker or vaper , there's two areas around the main pool to smoke, one above the pool bar and one off to the side near the table tennis, (on the roof top (adults only) there a couple of tables to the back of the bar. alternatively, its off site. There's no smoking in the room or the balcony of any room. Its very family friendly. As a vaper, it would have been nice to chuck the little one in bed and sit on the balcony with the Mrs and have a drink and a smoke. But I understand others may not want my vape wafting upto their balcony. Its a fair compromise.

If you or family member have celiac, they accommodate to that too. Very well. (Found out from our neighbours)

I could go on but its getting long now.

So I'll add, the Mrs used the hotel app to see what was going on everyday. She said it was so handy to have.

For me, 9.5 out 10, simply due to nightlife music is just a little dated. More so for the kids than the adults.

Still rated 5 stars, and will double check closer the date to ensure we have the correct room.

Actually, I need to add after we checked out. We had a long wait for our flights. And the reception gave us all temporary wrist bands so, we were still all inclusive whilst we waited. They had shower rooms incase we wanted to use the pool. This was just the icing on the cake and unexpected for us. This was extra reason for us returning.

See you all next year. Thank you to...

In any case, my wife and I will try not to stay at this hotel again, as after such a "vacation," we...
