Cafetería La Media Luna — Restaurant in Arona

We went there after the disappointment from la pepa food market. We searched this cafe on google map, we went inside and saw a lot of locals and gave it a try.

Our experience was amazing. Though we waited long time to be served as the cafe is quite busy. The price is really good compared to other restaurants we tried on other days, I will say it’s cheap and the portion is big. We are a family of 3, with a 4 yr old boy. We orders a pizza, a burger, a salad, a fried fish, a big coffee and fresh orange juice.

The pizza is yummy and our son loved it. It’s a big portion and enough for a family if you are not too hungry.

We order a burger with blue cheese, it’s the best burger we tried in Tenerife. The salad is normal, won’t go wrong. What surprised us was the fried dish, it came with deep fried squid and fries, the squid is super soft and tasty, everyone should try it!! The fries are good and again, big portion.

We saw lots of locals eating and drinking coffee there, the coffee is actually really good.

We will recommend this cafe to everyone!

We spent about 34 euros for all...

Went here for lunch and ordered a veggie burger. To my surprise, after one bite, I found a use plaster/bandaid in the veggie patty. I felt sick to my stomach! This has never happened to me and I was so shocked and horrified that I nearly had a used plaster in my mouth. Thankfully I found it before I consumed the rest of the burger. To the credit to the staff, they apologised and it was rectified immediately. I was offered a replacement which I accepted and got a sandwich instead. I now have trust issues regarding their food and will not be eating the replacement sandwich. My friend who I was eating with was so put off by the food he was unable to finish his sandwich. I am grateful for the response from the staff and we did not pay for our food but it is still unacceptable and completely disgusting....

Stopped for a coffee. The table I sat at was dirty from the previous customers. Called the attention of the waiter to order a white coffee. Did not wipe the table and gave me the coffee. Having been here on previous occasions knew it was better to go inside to pay. Ignored completely by a woman making coffees who then started to argue with a male who appeared from the kitchen who I assume was a staff member or could have been the owner. Either way deplorable behavior in front of customers and eventually paid the waiter who saw the situation a d I quickly left. Does not invite to go back for a meal or try the array of...
