The best ice cream shop in Mahon.All the others look flashy and gimmicky but this one is the real deal..All the ice cream made fresh , everyday and been in Mahon for many years.The 5th generation of the family. The quality flavours and ingredients are superb and natural(amazing dark chocolate). They serve good coffee too and traditional cold drinks made from old recipes..Do try the lemon of orange granizado on a hot day or if you like something different horchata and iced black coffee. This place is a little off the main pedestrian street going down on the side where the statue of the small girl is in the cobbled square. Nice staff and owner too. This shop is a little gem in the town, the varieties of ice-cream they have is amazing. But behold, their drinks are extraordinary as well. The lemonade that they make, I bet you won't find anything like that in whole island. It's a family run business and I guarantee 1 of the best spot to quench your thirst. I had Horchata de chufa and leche merangada, and both where like there was riots of flavour in the mouth. My wife has become a dir hard fan of their lemonade. Definately a recommended spot. Fantastic ice cream spot in a great location of Mahón. If you are going to go from the port area it’s an uphill walk of about 8-10 minutes. There are stairs that help though. Lots of ice cream options, slushees, horchata and pomada granizada (the typical gin drink from the area). I got the mint chocolate chip and it was delicious-had chocolate sprinkle mixed in instead of chocolate chunks and my husband loved his mango scoop. Definitely recommend if on the area looking...
