A great experience and nicely laid out in a former antique cloister. It is a small museum, which is worth the visit, when you are interested in the history of Menorca. On 2 quite large floors, the history is explained from prehistory to modern times. Time moves quickly and subjects are explained very well in short tableaus and drawings and texts. You get a good feel for how much wanted this island was through the ages by different powers and empires and the lasting cultural heritage from these onslaughts. A visit will take about 1-2 hours depending on how detailed your interest is. Parking is not easy. We parked about 5 minutes walking from it in Sa Rovellada de Dalt and Sa Negre. This is a blue zone (2 hr max for a few euros). There is also a parking on the square (Explanades) near that site.
