Es Borinot — Restaurant in Maó

On our way to the riverside, we'd stopped at the square and sat in one group of seats, turned out another cafe, Palmeres, because on the way back chose different seats turned out to be for Es Borinot. Service was ok, less friendly than on the other cafe. No popcorn or other gratis nibbles here whilst the other did. It was a case of beer, chill, pay your bill. Preferred the other cafe. Although when we went to use the toilet and went to the Palmeres adjacent to Es Borinot, were hastily ushered out to Es Borinots toilet! I get it but wasn't obvious and was it a problem? The first thing that ruined our experience was the waiter. He was rude from the start, treated us with little respect, and even managed to bring our order wrong. Instead of apologizing, his attitude made the whole situation worse. When the food finally arrived, it was just as disappointing. The “patatas bravas” were nothing more than fried potatoes drowned in plain ketchup. The croquettes came out cold, greasy, and tasting only of old oil. For the price they charge, the quality was absolutely unacceptable. The only redeeming factor was the atmosphere, which was actually quite pleasant. Mi experiencia fue nefasta ya que al llegar al lugar no nos atendían nos pasaban los trabajadores por el lado ni nos miraban . Nos sentamos como pudimos y al venir el camarero le preguntamos si nos podía cambiar de sitio y su repuesta fue no en todo momento luego vimos un sitio que cabíamos las dos familias y su repuesta fue un no contundente Me dio la sensación que querían que nos fuéramos del local y para el colmo nos dijo que estábamos molestando a sus clientes . Salimos indignados ya que era tarde los niños lo teníamos llorando y muertos de hambre . Fue desagradable la verdad que no lo recomiendo a nadie de visitar ese lugar . Cuando nos íbamos el encargado cuando nos escuchó hablando de reseñas intentó hablar con nosotros . Parecía majo,pero ya el daño estaba hecho. De su gastronomía no puedo opinar porque fue nuestra primera experiencia ya que todas la reseñas eran buenas,pero mira el fallo están en los dependientes que algunos son perdonas que no valen para atender a los clientes no dan soluciones ni facilidad al cliente .
