I dislike this movie theater but I'm always going back to it for two reasons; it's huge, many English movies, and quality sound in some halls.
What constantly pesters me about this theater is how filthy it is. The hallways are constantly littered with popcorn. The movie halls smell like an old used up, not perfectly cleaned house, there's a stench. I once went to a movie and they didn't even clean the hall. We ended up sitting in a room with the dirt of the people before us. Popcorn all over the floor. Nachos fallen on one row. Drinks from the previous showing still in the cup holders. You can tell the place isn't cleaned well by simply looking through the gaps between the seats. You know those gaps which eat up your phones? Yeah, look at those. You'll maybe see popcorn left off by your ancestors before you.
It's such a shame. But I think it's clear that the place is understaffed, especially with cleaning staff. The staff is all friendly that's for sure. The mall that the cinema is in makes it perfect for a night out because of the restaurants on the ground floor. Parking is directly underneath the theaters and you get validation and end up paying a massively discountes rate. There's also a station 5 minutes walking distance away...
Read moreIt’s ok, but the staff are not always welcoming nor helpful. They seem they don’t like their job, so they don’t care to treat people kindly. Furthermore, I presented a request to lower the volume that was too loud, sometimes reaching 89db or even 97db! How come the staff simply do nothing to sort out a problem like this! There were at least 5 children watching the movie under this so UNHEALTHY ENVIRONMENT!!! Yes, because being exposed to such an UNHEALTHY situation for about 2 hours will bring hearing loss certainly. No doubt about that! And it gets worse, because 25 minutes later the employee I had talked to him before simply did nothing! And when I approached him again to say that I was leaving the screening room because I couldn’t stand that TOO LOUD VOLUME anymore , he only said: “I thought they have already sorted out. Do you wanna write a complaint?” and he and his peer just laughed. Unbelievable! As I say to my folks: don’t go to this awkward cinema, because it’ll not be worth it. If you have other options, pick the other options and...
I like these cinemas less and less. I start at the beginning. The thing about the Rodilla restaurant, which the cinemas manage, is unfortunate. You go to see a movie at 9:40 p.m. and you arrive at Rodilla at 9:00 p.m. to have some sandwiches, and our surprise (there were 7 of us) is that they don't have a SINGLE SANDWICH to sell, and even worse, they can't make them like they do in the rest of the Rodilla cafes in Spain. Oh, and they close at 10:30 p.m.!!! Total strake. The cinema cafeteria at 9:45 p.m. (the movie starts at 10:10 p.m., supposedly), more or less just as bad. Just one clerk and a tremendous queue. We ordered 5 pax of salty popcorn and when we started eating it, already in the room, it was mixed with sweets. How awful!! The seats in the room (19) were extremely uncomfortable and dirty. It was quite hot in the room. And to top off the bad experience, a lady came with us with a leg injury and was on crutches. Well, no one, neither at the entrance nor at the exit to go to the parking lot, told us not to go up the escalator, NO ONE, (and the person asking for the tickets saw her), NO ONE told her that she would use the elevator . In other words, quite a pitiful, Dantesque and terrible spectacle. ...
