Restaurante La Tagliatella — Restaurant in Madrid

Terrible service. They take forever (55 mins. for the starters to arrive), forget items (even after being reminded repeatedly), short serving (so basically stealing) and then lie when reproached for said practice.

Stay away from this particular franchise restaurant. It really is shameful of the owners because this really reflects very badly on the other ñ, decent, Tagliatella franchises - where, to date, we have never had any negative issues, quite the opposite, they are usually quite good.

We will not be visiting this restaurant again (even though we come to the cinema regularly for the V.O. movies).

In a snowy day, we chose there for the celebration of the birthday of my bfs dad. They have a typical Spanish stomach so it's quite a challenge when you don't want always eat in a typical Spanish one. So we chose this one. Risotto with the mushroom sauce is always my favourite. We also ordered the green tortelini , 4 cheese wide noodle and steak with foie sauce. Since I'm not so into pasta because it's just too easy to get you full before you can enjoy the most, I don't think it's a good choice to order too much pasta. Maybe a thin dough pizza with mozzarella and ham could have been better. Home made wine is quite light. Accept birthday cake....

We decided to get dinner here after seeing Barbie in the movie theater located in the same building. Tagliatella is my favorite Italian restaurant in Spain and this one didn't disappoint. My mom is visiting from the US and she loved the food. We shared a pepperoni pizza, a pasta dish, and cannelloni. The portions were generous and it was all delicious. We even had leftovers we took home with us. I must also say the service was great. This is one of the best Tagliatella restaurants I've been too and we look forward...
