Incredible course, super well taken care of and in super condition. The view is unbelievable!

Quite a short course, not many drives, more technical and have to play smart.

Booked online, 53€ with buggy included. A little bit of a hassle back and forth when I arrived with not knowing if I would play alone or not. No one else booked on my time, but when I arrive they had given my time to another 3 person group and I was put in-between with first a 2 person group that didn’t arrive, so in the end I played alone.

Quite slow pace because of the not controlled groups, but I was enjoying the sun and the course.

Course: Incredible condition and really well taken care of. The last 9 holes is in my taste more beautiful than the second, but some incredible and interesting holes. Quite short and tight, not so many drives, if you don’t wanna play a bit bold. Definitely more course management that usual.

Refreshments: Nothing open on the course, including the Buggybar. But you can buy both before you tee off and when you come back after 9 holes to the club house. Also open for food and drinks after your round.

Reception & Shop: Good service and have anything you might need if you forgot something. Not...

A group of us have been going every year for a golf week in the Marbella area for years. We have previously played this course a number of times with no issues (prior Covid). When we arrived on 21st March the reception staff did not say anything to us out of the ordinary, no warning was given. We teed off and were enjoying the nice weather. After ordering some food I discovered that all my cash was stollen from my bag. Unfortunately, it wasn’t only me. 8 people out of the group had their cash missing. We headed back to reception and were told that the staff knows about the robberies as they have been happening a lot lately and even told us it must have happened on the 5th hole. We were told that the thieves have moved the tee markers as far back as possible and away from the stairs where you would normally leave your golf buggy, so you have no visibility of your belongings. Cabopino have done nothing to prevent their customers getting robbed… making sure the tee markers aren’t moved, placing CCTV at this specific tee box, or even having a marshal in the area… nah why bother. The group after us (strangers) were also robbed out of all...

Our group consists of 4 low h’cap club golfers. Firstly very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Bar menu was simple but plentiful and good quality. Very good practice facilities but the range is a trek from club house and 1st t, so need to arrive with plenty of time. Very well organised starter and buggy pick up. Course is short and only offered a couple of opportunities to hit driver. However , the course demands accuracy and positioning. A couple of 220 yards shots required into small, narrow landing zones to have any chance of regulation pars. The course was in excellent condition 6.10.18. The greens consist of split levels, they are mostly elevated and were medium fast but very true. Although we all enjoyed playing two days in a row and great sea views, we would not return. Two many blind, awkward t and approach shots made this course play more difficult than it is. This is more of a members type course where you need to learn the greens and experiment to workout the best positioning from the t to get the best out of it. Very surprised if any new visitor can play this...

Best golf course ive ever played. I would happily play this every day for the rest of my life and not even want to be anywhere else. Stunning golf course, and the actual playability and layout its class. We've played 7 days this week and nowhere else got close. It was so good we booked to play it a second time before left. Greens were phenomenal, and the pins the 2nd time were naughty. 😅 but just fair enough. I shot 67 round 2, it was gettable but if you hit a bad shot you would be in trouble. The rest of the course is spotless, tees and fairways beautiful. Water hazards look stunning where they've been placed. My only tiny concern is the pace of play, but thats more to do with the hackers booking to play it. But after a couple of holes I just kept staring at the view anyway. And the clubhouse to sit and have a beer in too, stunning. And the beer its self was very good. Had some shocking beers in spain this week. Fell in love with it. 100% ill be back. Just wont be soon enough for me.

A picturesque, challenging course, but please, space out your tee times! Can't fault the overall design of the course, it's a unique lay out that will challenge even the better golfers. Some really interesting holes, and sublime views! The condition wasn't great, a lot of bare ground and bad lies but i'd presume thats just down to the time of year! The biggest issue however, was the pace of play. i was part of a 3 ball, and the round took 5 hours in total, with buggies. Every few holes there was a log jam of groups waiting to tee off. For me it seems like the tee times are too close together, 7 minutes is not enough time. We had about 4 groups of 4 infront of us and there were some waits of up to 10-15 minutes between shots. It completely spoilt an otherwise glorious day!
