I went there after a hike. My shoes were very muddy because of Sahara dust and rain so I left them in the car and went barefoot in the shop to get some blueberrys for my babyboy.
Oh boy... four (4!) workers came to me and told me in a very rude spanish that l have to leave because of barefeet...
Guys.. you work in a city that economically depents on tourism. How are you not able to have a single worker that is able to talk just a little bit english in a work shift? And how the hack is it possible that you are not able to put a sticker on the door to communicate "only with shoes!" if you are that bad in english? I guess more than 50% of your custommers are not from spain...
If you at least would have been able to communicate in a professional or a calm or a friendly way but what scary moce l had to watch there in front of me? Completly aggressive out of nowhere...
It doesnt matter but l am microbiologist and my wife is biochemist and if you guys think that shoes have a higher standart of hygiene l have to disappoint you but since you are not even able to take your smartphones to make a simple translation I doubt that you will have the skill to read this...
I like LIDL in Germany because there is no way that a worker would treat me with so much disrespect. I am male 1,86 m tall, athletic. I really dont wanna know how you treat people that are much weaker l guess you instantly push em out?
My creditcard says 1487,86 € spend at your shop and I guess the card of my wife says pretty much the same so have fun with the money cause it was the last from our...

A public bathroom at the end of the tills on your right, just in case you didn't know ;) good price&value, you can eat well from Lidl. it's true that there is a problem with staff in this Lidl supermarket, you are very likely to have a bad experience with customer service and be treated like you should have never entered. I lived in Nerja all summer and entered weekly and so can add nice things too: you might be lucky if you get served by a Spanish girl with curly hair called Melody, she is the only person in there who understands about the treatment of customers, looks you in the eyes when saying Hola, always has a smile on her face, is patient and allows time to pack away your shopping without giving you bad looks, explains where are things in the shop and is generally interested in her job. Come on Lidl!!! Employ motivated people because the customers deserve...
Read moreThe new Lidl in Nerja has a number of frustrations. Firstly it obviously only wants to cater to drivers. I arrived with my shopping trolley and had to use checkout lane to get to the trolley parking area. Then had to exit store to go back to their trolleys. When finished shopping I was left with two choices - either leave my shopping inside shop to return Lidl trolley and then return through checkout to collect my abandoned shopping or juggle trolley in each hand to exit store. More thought required. Additionally although my Lidl plus card was accepted at checkout it didn't apply discount or reflectI my account. Last complaint is the absence of English style back bacon which is normally my reason for going....
