Cafetería La Nube — Restaurant in Nerja

Went this morning for late breakfast. It was three of us, the only table open was a small table of two which we squeezed into but this is no issue. The music was very loud and disorienting. The staff were really quite rude. I understand it was busy but there were plenty of people working. At one point one of the women working literally shoo’d one of us out of the way when there was room to pass. Coffee was vile, arguably the most important part of a cafe. Ordered lemon and sugar crepes and received a single crepe with lemon and chopped chives?? That’s a first. Toilet was in the store room and had dodgy electrics. Only redeeming quality was that food arrived quickly....

A simple but very tasty menu, food is extremely fresh and tasty. As the only vegetarian in the party, there was only a few options for me, however the vegan burger was honestly the best I have ever had. It wasn’t a fake meat patty but a vegetable based burger and it was incredible. We really love this cafe. It's very well run by polite & efficient staff, quick to take your order & serve your food. We have eaten breakfast & lunch & have also stopped off for drinks. All very reasonablely priced with a good & varied choice of food. It has been a cool & inviting oasis, particularly during a very hot & crowded August.
