The staff seemed to not care, we wanted to book 30min massage but were told they are fully booked and only 15min is possible. When we were there we saw nobody getting a massage. You can buy water for 1€ at the entrance but were not warned that we would have to buy it. No fruit, no tea nor water are provided. There are 2 “whirlpools” outside, but it’s more like a shallow bathtub. I die the main jacuzzi half did not work, the infrared sauna lights were broken so you sat in the dark and the steam room bench was cold so all the hot air was above your head, but not on your body. The music during the massage was very loud and when I mentioned that it was a pity we could not have 30min massage I just got a “yeah it’s too short” but no offer to make it 30min although after our massage they were chatting at reception again. In addition to not getting any water as they seem to want to sell their restaurant, the restaurant was closed, so I am not sure where we could have relaxed to enjoy a drink. Plus the restaurant seating looked extremely uninviting with metal chairs, not what I expect of a Hammam. We were there 1 hour including the massage as we did not enjoy it. Oh yes, you have to bring your own towel and sandals or pay extra for these. Fotos are of course not allowed, so I cannot...
Read moreOk facilities with poor service and very disappointing relaxing massage. For 40€ I kept my expectations low. It started with a rude front desk representative. No water or tea included. Towels for rent. The hot pool is nice and my friend and I enjoyed it. We tried the other pools and they were also fine. Time for the relaxing massage… first the masseuse did not leave the room for me to undress, then she asked me to lie down on a table with a wet disposable cloth. I mentioned that it was wet and she said that it was from the previous girl so the table was not properly dried. The worst part comes next. She started “massaging” my back repetitively, in circular ways, for several minutes. Same movement. No pressure at all. When I asked her politely if she could apply a bit of pressure on my shoulders she said she couldn’t because it was a relaxing massage… there was nothing relaxing about her repetitive touching with no attention at all to the body needs and no addressing any points. I asked...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our time in the baths, we have not ever been to baths like these before so cannot make comparisons. The leg massage was great and definitely worth getting, though there was definitely an unpleasant smell from the massage table which has meant I have dropped the score to 4 instead of 5. The sauna, hot tubs etc were not as hot as in the UK but were still lovely. I especially loved the scented steam room and the hot beds next to them. The beds in the jacuzzi pool were lovely too and the crushed ice very refreshing. We didn't have any tea, only remembered about it after we left. Unsure where it was. We went at 4pm on a Monday and it was quite quiet, was getting busier when we left. We would definitely go again when we next return to Ronda. Great...
