This is such a wonderfully curated museum. Not sparse, not overcrowded. The selection of historical objects are excellent. Anyone with a curious mind or enjoys engineering, craftmanship, romanticism, science, military or the mystical will be happy here and almost all descriptions come with English translations. My dad (69yrs) and me (29yrs) had so much to talk about and learn from each other about the various parts. It was a great bonding experience.

I wouldn't call this a place for kids or young families, but a relaxing, quiet, thought-provoking museum to visit for adults and young adults. You're free to take pictures, explore at your own pace and even climb upon the carriages for a picture of you like (even though we didn't partake)! Local context for the photographic and cinematographic exhibit was particularly wonderful. The entire building with the indoor courtyard was stunning. Can't praise this place enough - a very refreshing and tranquil experience that's tourist friendly without being expensive, over the top...

We had an absolutely wonderful time walking through the interesting displays at the Lara Museum in Ronda a few days ago! Sr. Lara has so many amazing collections, and he shares them with the public in beautiful ways! Each room showcases different eras and themes such as clocks, musical instruments, gramaphones, cameras, cinema, machinery, bullfighting, guns, fans, dolls, and the varied content goes on and on. We were reminded about past days and we're whisked back into history around every corner. We had the distinct pleasure of meeting the proprietor himself, which was a joy! It was a wonderful change of pace to explore this beautiful building which housed so much of yesteryear. We will...

You definitely cannot judge this book by its cover! From the entryway of this museum I had no idea what I would find inside. The varios collections of armaments, cameras, archeology, guitars, microscopes, watches, typewriters, and many more... were truly stunning for the entire family. To top off this amazing collection the entire downstairs was dedicated to ancient divides that were used during the Spanish inquisition. Well worth the 4 euro entry fee...

I was drawn there by the Spanish Inquisition torture display which was quite interesting. There are many more diverse exhibits. An eclectic collection. The lovely lady that sold the entrance tickets was warm and welcoming, encouraging me to interact with the displays. This is a museum where you are expected to touch stuff. It is not very big which is nice. You feel like you don’t need to rush through one part just to get everything in. Entrance price was nominal.
