Arc of Christ — Local services in Ronda

Tip: use Google Earth when researching these viewpoints to give you a better sense of altitude etc.!

This is, for my money, the best viewpoint in the area, however it is not easy to access. It's a very steep dusty/rocky trail up from Mirador La Hoya Del Tajo (which itself has a pretty great view and is accessible by walking entirely on paved/cobbled roads).

As of October 6th 2023 you cannot access it from the path starting at Plaza de Maria Auxiliadora - it must be walked down from the Plaza Ruedo Alameda, down to la Hoya Del Tajo, up to the viewpoint & down the same way again.

Wear sturdy shoes and you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view of the scale of the bridge & cliffs.

If you love to sketch/ paint this is one of my favorite spots to capture the bridge. Bring a pad/ something to sit on and there is a ledge to the left in the arch just perfect to set up. Here provides you one of the best views of the iconic bridge. Tiny bit far from the central of the city, but worth to visit. Just you would better to wear hiking shoes as the best path is temporary closed, so you have to go around and climb this hill from the bottom....
