Mercadona — Local services in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Loved Mercadona in Vallencia. Same here. Stores are bright, clean, aisles amazingly broad, items can be seen. The floor is flat, smooth, and clean. There is no line at checkout (but still no self checkout, sadly). Parking lot right at the exit. The lot is small, though. Lots of carts, and most of them work (all plastic, light, no rust).

Prices are generally good. Vegetables and fruits are in good shape, not old and dirty. The meat section is not so good, only packaged meats. It is best to use a local charcuterie.

Traffic around this store is terrible. It's slightly more terrible than the rest of the town. Narrow, tight, fast lakes and...

Like this supermarket very much. Though the outside of the shop is not very impressive, but the inside of the shop is very organized layouts and comfortable spaces for customers to do their shopping. There are lots of good food items with high quality available here, particular the fishes, sea food and meats. The price is also very competitive as well. Staff are friendly and services...

Llevo mucho tiempo comprando en este Mercadona y nunca había tenido ningún problema. Quizás sea porque nunca me había atendido el señor que me ha atendido esta tarde en la pescadería. Le he pedido algo que ya había pedido a una compañera suya, la cual no tuve ningún tipo de problema pero las formas de dirigirse a mi e incluso la risa cómplice con otras personas de este señor, han hecho que pierda el interés por lo que le había pedido y me he ido de la pescadería sin lo que había ido a comprar. No todo acaba ahí, cuando me he ido a terminar mi compra he pasado a otro pasillo y le he escuchado como hablaba con otros clientes sobre mí y sobre lo que había pasado. Muy decepcionado con la atención recibida por este señor. No es algo que en una empresa como Mercadona se deba permitir. De echo siempre me ha llamado la atención cómo en Mercadona siempre me han tratado muy bien, tanto aquí en Tenerife como en otros Mercadonas...
