Facility was lovely and well equipped. We were greeted with bath towels and sandals with a comfortable changing area and lockers. We did the couples spa and massage treatment package. First we had the massages, then did the spa.

The Massage: I was pretty disappointed with the “relaxing massage” as it felt like it was just an oil rub down instead of any stress relief. I asked for more pressure multiple times to release tension but she did not apply further pressure which ultimately didn’t create relaxation. My husband found his massage to be decent, so perhaps it was my masseuse. I would have even upgraded the treatment but I felt disregarded during this portion.

The spa: the facility was the most relaxing part for me, we did serval sounds between the steam room, sauna, hydro thermal bath, and iced water bucket. We had most of the space to ourselves the entire time which was lovely for us since it its co-ed. The relaxation room at the end was lovely for some tea and nice music.

All in all was nice and the facility felt clean and well kept. The experience would have been 5 stars if the massage was great. Perhaps a specialty massage, and depending on who you get could make all the difference. Be sure to clarify your preference...

Located in hotel El coto, this is a recent post covid addition which was previously the space do their tennis courts.

Certainly an upgrade from the tennis courts, the spa is wonderful. There are multiple treatment rooms which is beautifully decorated.
