Leggado — Local services in Seville

On 19 July 2024, I instructed Leggado Abogados to prepare a legal claim to obtain precautionary measures against other heirs as they were selling properties in an inheritance. I was assured that they were experts in inheritances, and highly experienced in this type of work. 2500 euros was paid for the service.

Despite providing all the necessary documents and instructions, the documents prepared by Leggado were poorly written, and did not contain important evidence, and my instructions. I raised my concerns with Leggado on numerous occasions and asked them to better prepare the documents. My concerns were dismissed and I was assured by Angel Seisdedos that based on his professional experience the documents he prepared were “more than correct” and met “the necessary requirements for the precautionary measures we are seeking”.

The application for precautionary measures was presented to the court on Friday 26 July, and dismissed by the court 2 days later on 30 July due to legal, evidential, procedural, and drafting defects. I was casually informed of this on 31 July.

Despite the assurances made by the lawyer that the documents were more than correct, no explanation was provided for the defective application that was rejected and dismissed by the Court. Instead, he requested a further 1200 euros so he could prepare another document to rectify the mess he created.

I attempted to speak with the lawyer by telephone on 31 July, however he informed me by email that “I am on holiday until September- happy summer – let’s speak in September”. I found this attitude to be unprofessional and callous.

The situation is that 2500 euros has been lost in less than a fortnight, and the situation is now worse than before. Leggado are now refusing to respond to my emails.

I am writing this review to review to warn others of my experience so the same does not happen to them. The service I received does not deserve even one star.

Instruct an alternative...

Hace un tiempo que queríamos poner orden al testamento en la familia, aún sabiendo de derecho empecé a buscar y pude ver que las opciones son miles y siendo realistas el notario te asesora pero tampoco es para tirar cohetes. Seguía a Ángel desde hace ya un tiempo, su libro es muy interesante y he podido compartir alguna charla con él. Me animé a contactarlo para una sesión de orientación previa y puedo decir que salí encantado de la misma, de un vistazo entiende tu perfil y te asesora en el sentido que él cree, pero aquí viene lo más importante, si tu quieres algún matiz diferente se adapta al instante y te asesora en base a eso, parece lo más lógico pero cuando tratas con especialistas a veces no tienen la cintura necesaria para ello. Resumiendo tanto si sabes de derecho como si no, o si tienes mucho patrimonio o el típico de tu casa y alguna cosa más vale la pena ponerse en manos de un profesional como Ángel y dejarlo todo bien atado. Además se encarga él de negociar los flecos con la notaría lo que siempre es...

Excelente primera entrevista. Trato cercano y muy profesional. Yo misma soy abogada y, precisamente por eso, valoro especialmente la diferencia que supone tratar con un especialista en un área concreta. Se nota que Ángel Seisdedos conoce bien la materia. Ha sido muy atento, ha escuchado mis necesidades y me ha ofrecido soluciones que no se me habrían ocurrido en cuestiones de testamento y poderes preventivos.
