Ana and her brothers make this little joint on Ringön a real family affair. And I feel like a part of the family every time I’m there.
There are usually three lunch plates to choose from including one vegetarian dish, and the lunch price includes drinks.
This unassuming little place pops with cuteness and color once you step inside. And it’s obviously a reused and upcycled interior design (by their neighbors reCreate Design Co), which adds to the charm. It doesn’t try to be more than what it is...a great place to lunch with friends or family with fresh Mexican food to fill the belly!

Just walk into the colorful little cafe and have a seat, staff may be in the back of the house but trust me they will come out and assist you. Great local neighborhood beer served. An easy 10 minute walk from the closest stop and your there, you will be going through a traditionally industrial and shop area but I think that adds to the charm. Pick out some bathroom tiles and visit the local thrift store. Again- legit good food. I will absolutely return to try new dishes on the rotating menu....
Read moreThe food tastes really authentic Mexican. It is the first place I have Mexican food outside Mexico that has dishes with real Mexican flavours and ingredients. I had the chilaquiles and they were absolutely delicious. The salsa was very yummy, but not too spicy, and the cheese was also surprisingly good. So happy a found a genuine Mexican cozy place so far away from home. Don’t forget to ask for their homemade bread! They have conchas and even pan de muerto at this time of...
