Went on a Tuesday when the main Sitting Buddha was closed and got to explore the other side of campus with my mom from the US Member of SGI What an Enchanting Wonderful Place! Peaceful and beautiful. Went on a weekday and found the place almost empty which was great. If you are not in a rush, take time to admire the various pagodas, museums, side temples etc. we spent a day and a half but went at a slow pace. Interested in Buddhism should vist this monastery. The place is big and will need sometime to explore the whole monastery. There is a 20mins animation story on Buddha & tickets is free. You can proceed to the vegetarian restaurant to have lunch or have a quick bite or drink at any of shop. Bring back good luck charm from souvenir shops.
