Such a divine place. I really enjoyed visiting the Monastery. A must see if you are in Kaohsiung. Buses are available from HSR Zuoying station. It took only 30 min. Free entrance. It took almost 3-4 hrs for me to cover the entire area by foot. Apart from the splendid Main Shrine area it has a cultural exhibition hall, Great Buddha land, gardens, university and a few lodges I guess. A vegetarian restaurant is there on the first floor of Go Guang Shan Pilgrim's Hall. Good food, quiet place. Plenty of restrooms inside. You can go to the Buddha Memorial hall by walking if you have time.
