Our family had an extraordinarily amazing trip to Tanzania with Anwar as our guide! We’ve traveled to a myriad of places, and Anwar rates as a top tier guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the culture, history and wildlife we saw and experienced. He briefed us continuously about what to expect and kept us abreast of each day’s activities. He adapted the tour to our interests particularly in regards to our daughter’s interest in birds. He’d stop the Land Cruiser whenever he spotted a new bird, would identify it for us and allow time for discussion and photos. He’d turn around and quickly modify his tour and his driving for something special. If we couldn’t identify the bird species, he had a reputable birding book on hand to assist with identification. He’d ask us, do you prefer lunch now or in an hour and a half based on where the picnic areas were located! Therefore, we’d describe Anwar as the epitome of a client--centric guide!

In addition to birds, his 15 years of guide experience meant Anwar is a leader among the other guides. Thus, he leads and mentors a network of Tanzanian guides who cooperate with each other for optimized wildlife sightings in all the national parks. For example, we saw a leopard who’d dragged a hyena carcass up a tree for breakfast ( sorry that’s Mother Nature) , a lion with two lionesses, lionesses with four cubs, a cheetah hunting gazelles with her four cubs, multiple elephants eating and one tearing down an entire tree! There were so many more incredible sightings such as giraffes, zebras, hippos, endangered black rhinos and so many others not mentioned.

Anwar also ensured we had a delicious and elaborate lunch every day, which we had not expected! The picnic included a tablecloth, china, meats, vegetables, coffee, fruit. Delicious, unexpected and elaborate in a national park!

We cannot say enough positive things about Anwar. He was professional, exemplary, funny, informative, energized yet calm and relaxed, and I would recommend him to anyone pursuing a Safari in Tanzania. I have no feedback or recommendations for improvement because it was such a perfectly executed...

5 stars, the big five and and the best trip ever

We had an absolutely magical trip with Wildlife Experience and made unforgettable memories. We took the 4 days trip to Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater and Highlands and managed to see the big 5!

There are a lot of tour operators in Tanzania but these guys are absolute professionals with more than 20 years of experience. The selection of hotels, the food, the travel route, the perfect organization and the comfortable car couldnt be better. They also took great care of my gluten free diet which I really appreciated.

Steven was an absolute awesome guide and is overall just a wonderful person, which made the trip very special. He knows the serengeti like the back of his hand and didnt need to use a map a single time in the almost 1000km we drove. Furthermore he knows so much about all the animals, culture and everything we wanted to know about Tanzania. Most important he drives very safely and concentrated, we felt 100% secure with him all the time. Overall the guiding was just very professional. We could really see that Steven was doing everything possible to show us the Big 5, which we managed to see in the end.
