Fantastic experience. We've booked 6 days 5 nights join-in camping safari: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Everything went as planned. Owner of the company, Emanuel, was very responsive to all our emails and questions prior to booking, also kept in touch just before our arrival to Tanzania to check if everything is ok. Emanuel also picked us from the airport and checked in a hotel we had included in our booking (also - we've received a free upgrade to a much better hotel than the one we were supposed to stay originally!). After safari Emanuel met up with us again to ask about our experience and then drove us to the airport morning of the next day, again by himself. We can definitely recommend Emanuel and his company as reliable and caring. As for the safari experience itself – I’m not going to go into details of what we saw, because it’s too amazing to describe! Enough to say we’ve seen almost 50 different species of mammals, reptiles and big birds, not even trying to count smaller and less known species of birds as it was probably over a hundred. We slept first two nights in a village close to Manyara lake (fenced area with tents and a bathroom). We were just two in the car for these first two days (Tarangire and Lake Manyara), then 4 other people joined us for Serengeti and Ngorongoro with a bigger car and a different guide. Both guides had an impressive knowledge of all the animals and were really good at tracking them. They were able to get us very close to the animals, yet they still were able to maintain respect for the animals wellbeing and avoided disturbing them even once. Camping areas in Serengeti and Ngorongoro are the best sleepovers we have ever had - this is milion times better than any hotel me - and you, whoever is reading this - had ever stayed in. You can't get any closer to the nature - do not book any lodged safaris, camping is absolutely essential to get fully immersed in Serengeti and Ngorongoro experience. One more word of praise to our guide in Serengeti – one of the other groups car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Sure, our guide could have said it’s not his problem – but instead, he towed them over away from group of lions and closer to service sites, saving other group of tourists some stress and time. Really glad to see the guides helping each other! If you are worried about the food during safari - don't be! Our chef was amazing. The quality of food he was able to do in very limiting condition of field kitchen is really impressive - both meat and vegetarian dishes. The amount of food was usually sufficient for whole day (if you know you like to eat more - bring some energy bars or snacks for a time you're on a game drive). Would we change anything in this trip? Probably not. Maybe just one tiny detail now: we had a great time on our day in Lake Manyara, really fun time, but if I were to go again I would trade Lake Manyara for another day in magical Serengeti or Ngorongoro. But that doesn't change a fact it was still a 10 out of...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of embarking on a four-day safari in Tanzania, organized by Emanuel and his exceptional team. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. Emanuel's meticulous attention to detail and his team's dedication to providing an unforgettable adventure were evident in every aspect of the trip.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Emanuel and his team. Their friendliness and enthusiasm set the tone for the entire safari. They took the time to ensure that we were comfortable and well-informed about the itinerary, which immediately put us at ease. Throughout the four days, their hospitality and genuine care for our well-being were consistently demonstrated.
The accommodations arranged by Emanuel and his team were excellent. We stayed in a mix of lodges and hotels, each offering its unique charm and comfort. The lodges were nestled in stunning locations, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking landscapes of Tanzania. The hotels provided a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation, ensuring we were well-rested and ready for each day's adventures. The attention to detail in selecting these accommodations was evident, as they enhanced our overall experience significantly.
One of the highlights of the safari was, without a doubt, the game drives. Emanuel and his team were incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife and ecosystems. Their expertise made each game drive an educational and thrilling experience. We were fortunate to witness a diverse array of animals, from majestic lions and graceful giraffes to herds of elephants and elusive leopards. Emanuel's keen eye for spotting wildlife and his insightful commentary enriched our understanding and appreciation of Tanzania's natural wonders.
In addition to the incredible wildlife encounters, we were also treated to stunning landscapes and cultural experiences. Emanuel's team arranged visits to local communities, giving us a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Tanzania. These interactions were both humbling and enlightening, adding a meaningful dimension to our safari.

Read moreI participated in a 3-night, 4-day tour in August. I wanted to travel to Serengeti and Ngorongoro, so I requested quotes from over 10 companies and chose this one as the most affordable option.
We visited Serengeti on the first and second days, Ngorongoro on the third day, and Tarangire on the final day. We were fortunate to see all of the Big Five animals, and we were able to capture moments of lions and elephants passing right in front of our vehicle.
Our dedicated chef prepared our meals. In the morning, we had light snacks and could make our favorite drinks with hot water from a thermos. At lunchtime, the chef packed the meals in a cooler box for us to bring along, and we enjoyed warm dishes in the evening. Everything was delicious.
For the tour transportation, they offered us complimentary transfers from the hotel in Arusha where we stayed the night before, to the hotel near Kilimanjaro Airport where we were supposed to stop after the tour. We had already booked hotels for before and after the tour, but it seems they have partner hotels and can arrange accommodations for the pre- and post-stays at a discounted or even free rate.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.
They provided plenty of bottled water, so there was no need to worry.
For those considering a similar tour in the future, here are some tips:
Showers may not have hot water and the availability may be limited. It's advisable to bring body wipes, and remember to bring your own towel. However, there might not be a place to dry them.
There were toilets without toilet paper, so it's good to bring your own.
Camping in tents for the entire trip can be physically challenging. Upgrading for some nights might be a good option.
Be cautious of dust as you may encounter a lot of it throughout the trip. Pay attention to your backpack and clothing.
Nights in Serengeti and Ngorongoro can be cold, so you will need a long-sleeve shirt, sweater, and a light coat.
Since there is no electricity in the tents, having a flashlight can be helpful. One that can be hung inside the tent will be useful.
Traveling on gravel roads may cause motion sickness. It's good to have motion sickness tablets. We also used insect repellent, cold medicine, and anti-diarrheal medication.
You may feel unwell from sunburn, so apply sunscreen. It's good to have a hat and sunglasses.
The customary tip for the chef and guide is $10 per person per day, so factor that into the...
