I am a new resident in Samui and tried and tested most fine dining restaurants.
I had been to the restaurant on the beach before which was completely a 10/10
The setting and service is incredible, The Ritz Carlton is defintely and incredible place.
From start to finish everything was done to perfection.
I didn’t come here to save money of whinge about prices, I came here for an experience of the best food in Samui along with the best service staff I’ve encountered.
One in particular, a young lady who could beat most F & B managers at any 5 star hotel with ease. The personal yet professional service from this waitress will have me coming back for years. There is great service that can be taught over years, this young lady was so attentive and never said a wrong word…in fact just was super impressive. ( I really hope this girl is recognised)
The steak so far was the best steak I’ve eaten hands down, and that was one of the cheapest on the menu.
The sides and dessert were again just faultless.
I’d like to mention the service by that young lady, but the whole team including the manager with blonde hair who was just super at his job.
I’ll ensure now my friends who visit me from overseas stay at this hotel and I will always recommend this to family and friends.

We began our meal with a Burrata appetizer that was divine. The cheese was perfectly creamy, paired with fresh tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil that elevated its flavors beautifully. Next came the onion soup, which was rich, hearty, and comforting—a perfect balance of sweetness from the caramelized onions and a touch of savory depth from the broth.
But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the four Wagyu steaks we shared. Each cut was prepared to absolute perfection, showcasing the exceptional quality of the meat. The marbling was exquisite, melting like butter with every bite. The chefs clearly knew how to respect the meat, as the seasoning was minimal, allowing the natural flavors of the Wagyu to shine through.
The service was impeccable, with the staff attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing an already flawless meal. The company and I virtually enjoyed all the menus; though my highlight goes (rightfully) to the main show: the steaks. The cuts of meat are dry aged and were prepared very nicely. The doneness level is spot on and both the wagyu tenderloin and the rib eye were nothing short of exquisite. Although, I did learnt earlier that there were cuts of picanhas and chateaubriands here but unfortunately discovered on the spot that the menu had been updated and these cuts weren't available, sadly.
Beyond the meat, we also enjoyed the seabass ceviche, the lobster bisque, the wagyu beef tartare, as well as the restaurant's complimentary set of pretzels to enjoy each.
