Old Town Pub Bistro — Local services in Manavgat

I went here with family (Group of 6) in June 2023…. We decided on this place as prior to our trip as we had done some research on the best Steak/Seafood restaurants in Side Old Town. This place had excellent reviews like no other we had read so we decided to give it a try & we were definitely not disappointed….

From the moment we approached the door we had a welcome greeting from the lady stood at front. We didn’t make a reservation but they instantly accommodated us. When we got to our table our waiter for the evening introduced himself as Ali.

Ali was extremely helpful & was at our table in a second if we needed any assistance. You could have a laugh with him & nothing seemed to be too much trouble all evening till the moment we left.

Service was very efficient & we had our food in no time. Four of us went for the fillet steak, one had Salmon Salad & one other had the burrito. We also went for a combination of starters including muscles in white wine source & garlic shrimp. Both were excellent choices that tasted amazingly fresh. (Ali informed us that any type of fish we ordered had come out of the sea that morning and delivered). For drinks we had a bottle of the higher priced sauvignon, 10 cocktails, a fish bowl, 2 melon cocktail bowls, 4 Jlägerbomb, 4 Limoncello & 2 cokes. They also provided plates of complimentary fruit at the end of our meal.

The food and drink were one of the best I’ve had & I literally couldn’t fault anything about the whole experience.

Only one thing I would say is that we all asked for our steak to be cooked medium but it was cooked all way through & just not red enough in the middle for us all. Having said that tho this did not actually impact the taste or texture of the meat & i was 100% satisfied after tasting it, so was everyone else in my group.

The whole night for us all cost 9,979TL, we thought that was cheap given the quality of everything & given what we had between us, we left a tip of cause.

I highly recommend this place if your looking for a great food & drink, great service & a wonderful atmosphere.

The restaurant is located right on the harbour front & if you get there for around 7pm you will get the chance to see the beautiful sunset across...

Ordered two Toma Hawk Steaks. Watched patiently as food came out and i have to be honest, it did look nice.

After an hour I got speaking to the couple on the next table, who commented on how long it took for the food to come out. They arrived 10 minutes after us, had ordered a starter, which they had already had, but like us were waiting on thier main meal.

Whilst waiting, we also observed a couple arrive half hour after us, they ordered and were served thier starters some time after.

At one hour and 10 minutes the couple who arrived half hour after us were served thier main meal, which was Steaks. Almost at the same time the table next to us, who arrived 10 minutes after us, were served thier main meal.

At this point we informed the waiter, Ali, that we wanted to pay for our drinks and to cancel our food order, as it took far too long and as to why. We tried to explain the above but he failed to listen, telling us to wait another two minutes. We again insisted and informed him that we no longer wanted the food. We then gave him some lira for the drinks we had and left.

When leaving the man at the front of the restaurant, who originally talked us into having a meal, asked me if we enjoyed the meal. To his surprise I informed him that it was rubbish, due to the above.

To sum this restaurant up, food looked good, you just needed to have it served to you in order to make a judgement...

Wow you can’t go wrong the service 100%. This place was recommended and it didn’t disappoint. Firstly I contacted via Facebook which took me to WhatsApp message to book a table, then reply yes table booked and a car will be outside your hotel to pick you up free. On the day car was outside 6pm which took us to old town side the driver said wait in car as someone will collect you. Two mins later a guy turns up please follow me walks up to the train as we going on the train to centre which he paid for 7 of us. After we get off train followed him past all the shops to the harbour and into ‘old town steak house’ The welcome we got was fantastic took us straight to the table, Our waiter for the night was ‘Ali’ he was a great hit with my little lad which made him head of table

Ordered drinks cocktails for adults, in fancy glasses which got a good laugh

Steak WOW cooked to perfection presentation 100% taste 100%

Sushi again WOW presentation 100%

After meal they brought us fresh fruit and dry ice which was great

Ali was a great laugh
