I visited 27th September 2021 at 20:30pm , a friendly fellow took my order and stated it would not be long , while waiting I enjoyed watching meals for customers being prepared in the open plan kitchen, great to see everything is made fresh in front of you. 10 minutes later I had my order and was on my way . I paid by Apple Pay as this was one of the options available for payment , one chicken curry with fried rice cost me £7.05 very well priced. Chicken curry served in a 650ml tub, fried rice in a 500ml tub, food piping hot I drove home to enjoy. This Chinese is top notch. I recommend the calamari, it always tastes fresh and the light batter allows for that perfect crisp. The prawns are also very good, they never taste frozen and the vegetables to accompany the mains are always well seasoned. I also recommend the special egg fried rice - the rice is never oily or too over MSG’d and the egg ratio is perfect. The service is great, it’s always bish bash bosh in there and you’ll be with your food in no time. Got a takeaway so I can't review the atmosphere in the restaurant, but I ordered a meal for my son - a student who had lost his bank card and hadn't eaten much for a couple of days! The guy who took the order was brilliant. Meal was ready and delivery was super quick but my son wasn't able to hear his phone ring. However the guy at the restaurant got the delivery guy to wait there until I got hold of him. I'm so grateful to the guys at Soy Cook Chinese for thier efficiency and patience.
