Aldi Newtown Birmingham: A Great Place for Groceries on a Budget
I've been shopping at Aldi Newtown Birmingham for a few months now, and I've been consistently impressed with their products and prices. The store is always clean and well-stocked, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Affordability
One of the things I love most about Aldi is that their prices are so affordable. I've been able to save a significant amount of money on my groceries since I started shopping there. They have a wide variety of products, from fresh produce and meat to pantry staples and household goods, all at prices that are much lower than other supermarkets.
Quality
I've also been impressed with the quality of Aldi's products. Their fresh produce is always fresh and in good condition, and their meat is high quality. I've also been happy with their pantry staples and household goods.
Variety
Aldi has a surprisingly wide variety of products, given their focus on affordability. They always have a good selection of fresh produce, meat, and dairy, as well as pantry staples and household goods. They also have a selection of specialty items, such as organic and gluten-free products.
Customer Service
The staff at Aldi Newtown Birmingham is always friendly and helpful. They're always happy to answer questions and help me find what I'm looking for. They're also very efficient at checking out, so I never have to wait in long lines.

Read moreI just went to this Aldi store the first time in over 3 years. Previously it was my local store. I couldn't believe how busy it was?! Why use the traffic light if system if you're not going to use it to manage the flow of customers? The lights were green but inside you could not move. Absolute gridlock. Felt like it was the 'bog roll' wars from a few months ago but with shoppers desperately grasping at everything trying to dodge each other. Really poor management which puts profit before customers reassurance considering the year we've had. Well done for putting your profits before customer safety. This store has had zero improvements over the years apart from the self service checkouts. Its looking unbelievably tired and in need of a facelift but I doubt the people of Newtown will get a refurbished store. Saying that this store as decrepit as it is is obviously bringing in the money. Which we all know is what it really boils down to. I can honestly say I will never go to this Aldi again end of. An honest review but I'll leave people to make their own judgement. Maybe they prefer...
Read moreIf i could give a score less than 1 I would. This is my local store, but i prefer to shop in OTHER Aldi stores to avoid the usual hussle and bussel and lack of stock. I needed to get one item, so thought I would go to the store. To my suprise there was no queue! There was no security guard or staff at the entrance! I went into the store thinking it must be qiute!? to my suprise it was like a normal shopping day, pre-lock down. The store was packed and there was so much chaos. The staff appeared nonchalant and the usual security guard that works there didnt appear to be doing anything? There was no recognition or urgency by staff that people were not adhering to the 2mtr safe distancing rule. I will NOT be visiting this store again and adviced other family members not to due to increased risk during this particular time. Angry and Disgusted ex-customer to this...
