Greggs — Restaurant in Birmingham

Pasties were ok but the staff wasn't happy to help. I asked "can i please have a hot, cheese and onion bake please, if you have any?" staff ask me "eat in or take away" i replied takeaway please he just handed me a cold bake and said and said £1.40. I was charged on my contactless and before i could even say anything the staff was like "who's next " I left the bake on the counter and said "just give it to someone else" and started to walk out. I could hear the staff saying in the background "ok" It was too blatant that he was just interested in the £1.40 and was least bothered about what i wanted. This is not a one off incident at greggs stores but i must admit that there are very good service providers at other greggs stores. Moral of the story, the hassle and embarrassment costed me...

Awful service at this Newtown branch, staff are rude and have no customer service skills. The mixed race woman is the worst of them all, no manners at all. Won't be coming back to this branch, greggs management need to keep a close eye on this branch as they will keep losing customers at this rate. Made me wait 15 mins for a pasty only to be told there were none in the oven, apparently only when a customer orders they start cooking them. Products are not always readily available, however, staff is always flexible and will prepare what you need, if possible. The staff at this location (New town) are always friendly and professional. I have visited other Gregg's locations but this is my favourite for all those reasons. Great customer service helps especially when so much is happening around us. Well done,...
