Called up today 19/08/22 at 12.25pm to book for an session of waxing I asked if it was possible to be seen today was told thier is a slot from 1pm to 2pm if i could get thier by 1pm. which I accepted and stated I will be 5 to 10 minutes late,As I was travelling from Castle bromwich to Harborne which is around 11 miles. So was told thats fine they can book me in for 1pm even if im slightly late, As the next client will be seen at 2pm and I will be seen by someone called POPPY.

However I got thier and was seen at reception by an Asian lady who booked me in and told me to be seated ,as she will inform POPPY to say I have arrived as this was 1.10pm. POPPY arrived took me to the treatment room then in a angry manner told me to get ready and she will be back in a minute which I found a bit rude but never thought anything off it.

As POPPY arrives she said she would like to start the waxing on my back which was no problem bought spoke in again in a rude tone. Ive started to feel quite uncomfortable. However I tried to engage in a conversation and POPPYs responses wer really minimum one word answers and negative energy. So at this point Im feeling unwelcomed not comfortable at all thinking Im disliked for some reason.

So as the treatment is going on I chose to stay quiet and my back was finished. So my next part was waxing for the chest and abs so as I turned around I was told only my chest can me be waxed as POPPY has no time for my abs or stomach.

So At this stage Ive said well I was booked in for full back chest and abs or stomach. again was told by POPPY she can only do the one as she has no time so only then Ive decided I will just leave so I paid and left at that time it was 1.25pm as i really believe POPPY had more then enough time to complete the treatment but just chose not to for whatever god damn reason. But at the very begingin I was told the slot was from 1pm to 2pm even though I was here for 1.10pm.

Anyways Not happy at all,Very poor Customer Service and bad business Standards thats not how customers should be treated regardless of any race religion or gender through out the whole process I felt uncomfortable and was treated poorly. I had travelled 22 miles not to be treated like this I will never ever be returning or reccomend this place after this experience thiers many places out who welcome you with open arms and appreciate your custom. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR WAXING. INCONSISTENT SERVICE Second time doing the full leg and bikini wax for about £28. First time I left with legs looking like half plucked chicken and bleeding pores - I was told my hairs were not good for waxing and to come back in a few weeks. Wasn't offered any pre or post wax oil and left sticky and uncomfortable (I wore tight jeans that day). I got a refund of £13 and ended up paying £14 for a bikini wax. It was my first time ever waxing so I thought this was all normal. Went back today and got powder, pre and post wax so that was better but I left still looking like a half plucked chicken. The bikini wax was the worst, hardly any difference between before and after and I didn't notice this until I got home. I just assumed I'd get the same standard as the first time. My legs have patches of hair all over, on my right there's a whole line that wasn't removed at all. I had 45 mins for my session but the spa was fully booked with only 2 people working, so my technician rushed my wax towards the end and even though I pointed out a few spots with hairs still on at the end she rushed over them hardly removing anything and then left to attend to other customers. The technician was nice to talk to and friendly but this wasn't at all value for money and I will not be going back. I was planning to get microdermabrasion here but will definitely go somewhere else from now on instead.

Positives - pleasant staff. Clean spa. Good location. Super easy to book and really good transparency with booking (you get an email and a text confirming your booking). I also never had any delay in being attended to. Didn't feel uncomfortable at all during waxing.

I have been going to the spa regularly since 2021 and have always enjoyed my visits until yesterday. I booked in for a 45 min facial and 45 min massage package and was looking forward to it for weeks.

The facial ruined the whole experienve for me. The therapist was planning to use steam and I requested her not to because none of the other therapists there have ever used it. She finished up and told me meet her downstairs. I checked my phone once I was out and saw that my total treatment had only lasted 1hr 7 mins and was supposed to be 1:30. I mentioned this to her and she told me that because I did not want the steam she finished early. I explained that I have never had it and still always get the full time I pay for. She apologized and offered to continue it and told me to get ready for the table again. She spent the next 10 mins doing a facial massage and the last 15 mins and re applied the same mask and serums/creams. I felt like I was just being fobbed off to complete the total time of the treatment and did not enjoy it at all.

I would have appreciated getting value for money for the total time I paid for. I usually get the 30 min package for massage and facial because it is cheaper but wanted to treat myself this time. I am not making that...
