I am a regular customer here and have brought SEVERAL of my family and friends here over the past few years. Spent thousands at this establishment minimum. All the staff here are fantastic even with my pets and all know us very well. There is a new starter here (male) who is softly spoken but VERY rude. Me and my associates have felt the same way but always turned a blind eye as we love the food. However, today 02/03/25 on a busy Sunday afternoon this outrageously disgusting, failure of an employee decided to raise his voice and talk down on loyal customers without knowing the scenario. We arrived, upon entry let a disabled male and his family in (of 3). They then sat down in a 6 seated table, which was no issue even though it was the last table of 6, they even asked us to join them, nothing but good energy and vibes unfortunately we couldn’t as we wouldn’t have he space for our other friends when they arrived. He said he would move if he wanted us to. Then the RUDE MALE STAFF MEMBER said ‘there is a policy and I won’t be moving anyone as there disabled, take my advice’. Infront of a full restaurant making it look like we had been intruding which is not truth. Then, if he had opened his eyes he would have notices at the front there was a family of four leaving… so much for your ‘company policy’ wouldn’t it be easier to put a disabled person at the front of the restaurant so they can leave easily incase of emergency? So much for company policy. We then said we was going to ask as he said he didn’t mind… once again, raising his voice. The male even followed us OUTSIDE the restaurant to continue talking down on us making sarcastic remarks such as ‘you can come back in 3 decades mate’, ‘your not bigger than our company policy’. The issue is not that there was no space/busy or company policy, the issue is this person thinking he can jump to conclusions and disturb other people’s peaceful meals trying to prove a point arguing with a happily, regular paying customer and coming to the door to continue confronting us. I called the manager she would not disclose his name, for a complaint but she did offer a table STRAIGHT after the incident … how does this make sense? If he said he couldn’t and wouldn’t move? All the other staff here are amazing. This one lets the side down majorly on my last visit, he also spoke down on the establishment. I will be sharing this on social media with outlets that have over 100,000 followers and also insuring all my family, friends and clients DO NOT visit this place, as I do not want them experiencing such a displeasure after me recommending this place so much. Read moreWe walked in at noon on Saturday and waited in line for a table. There's one group in front of us waiting to be seated. It took 8 minutes for their table to be cleared and seated. We were then told by the person who looked like a senior server that they will put bring us an extra table when we were seated at a table for 2 (but there's 3 of us). This happened just past 12 10. For the next 10 minutes no one come offer to move us to tables nearby which are now free because the customers have left, nor bring us another table. We tried to call a waiter's attention who then told us to wait and proceeded to speak to the next person at the door waiting for a table. This server never came back to us. By 12.25 we decided to swap to another table ourselves and order using QR code on the app. Finally after we ordered and paid online, someone came to clear the table, presumably they will have to put food down for us soon! It has taken 30 minutes to get seated and able to order our food. The table that followed us though, all got served and seated rather promptly. We also knew this is a busy restaurant but the service provided varied and obviously according to the type and look of customers who walked in. The food isn't here yet. The lively yet laid-back vibe made it the perfect spot to unwind with friends. It’s rare to find a place that gets the balance of great food, top-notch service, and inviting ambiance just right, but Arco Lounge nails it.
