Let’s begin with giving it three stars and the reason for that is because I’ve just seen Jaws on the big screen again And that has gained it another star so in reality I’m talking about a two star performance today from Cinema A shame really it’s really big complex clean when you walk in nice shiny floor three areas to get food but three people serving all on the one area so you have to wait to get served on all the areas and that takes awhile the meat and greet as you went in Wasn’t good as he made a point of telling me the film didn’t start until three with an attitude in his voice, obviously I knew that and went early so I could get something to eat and sit down and there is a first problem not the attitude of the staff, which is actually not that good but there are no seats downstairs nowhere to sit at all only about 4 to 5 seats upstairs which are old and were dirty the floor upstairs was clean food by the entrance to the theatres and a limited amount of food you could buy. I didn’t see any hot dogs or hot food just lots of chocolates and popcorn and cold drinks. Very pricey for you get so I would advise put your own crisps or your own Mars bar in your own handbag or whatever you carry the actual carpets in the theatres look tired and worn and need a good clean and we paid for the VIP seat which gave you a good view and to be fair they are comfortable but I don’t expect to pay the money for it a little bit more than a standard seat and find there to be food on it no ushers in the theatres to let you know when you can go in just a cleaner that will walk past you and say well you can go in now if you want to again with attitude so if they’re not throwing your money in your hand instead of handing it to you or sarcastically telling you what time it starts or in general not talking to you because they’re busy on their phones instead of dealing with people constantly talking in the theatre, then it’s okay, I guess but I wouldn’t break my neck to go there again. Poorly managed staff with attitude nowhere to sit when you eat, especially if you’ve just had knee surgery but my wife had and myself and so there is no way to sit you have to stand I’m afraid. The only reason I went was to see Jaws again on the big screen and had it been at the cinema I normally use I would’ve gone there so I score this 3 out of 5 .. untidy tired and poorly managed a bad experience I’m afraid I will stick to my local cinema or to the red carpet cinema in Burton, which is 1000...

Won’t be returning The Vue again. First and last time I’ve been. With high expectations, we travelled as a family of 4 as we were kindly gifted a gift card by a family member. With this being the closest we travelled nearly 45 minutes to watch the new Lilo & Stitch. After not being able to purchase tickets online using the gift card, or being able to contact the venue directly and was constantly getting an automated service, we took a chance and travelled down. What should have been a free visit, turned into a £60 visit. Gift card which we wanted to use, the card machine was down and unable to use it. After speaking the manager there was nothing that could be done, other than keeping hold of the receipt and hoping we could get a refund, this wasn’t the case. Obviously we would have to pay the ticket price otherwise we would have had very upset children! The ticket cost was then £35. Moving onto the food, extremely extortionate prices, how these prices can be justified I do not know. A large combo meal which you’d think would serve 2 people weren’t enough at all for a disgusting 17.99. And 2 kids combos, couldn’t even have a fizzy drink, had to be a fruit shoot. I have 7 and soon to be 10 year old, a fruit shoot wouldn’t suffice. Of course we had the option upgrade! More money! Crowded and loud cinema, I expected to be some noise due to this being a children’s film AND for it too be slightly busier than normal it was Lilo & Stitch after all, but there were clearly children who are far too young to attend the cinema in there. There was crying throughout, young toddlers walking up and down and at the front, talking, shouting, adults in their phones, people in and out the cinema to use the facilities constantly! awful experience. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. £60 trip which should have been free because we were on a budget for the day! I will definitely not be coming to this cinema again, I will not be using a Vue cinema again, I shall be sticking to the light cinema which is better...

Lovey complex, huge car park, massive cinema, very, very poor service to get snacks at the cinema, we were in a queue that was serving 2 people and took more than 10 minutes for them to get their snacks, we were 3rd in the queue, the family in front waited more than 10 minutes for their snacks, the next lane served 6 couples and families and this family hadn’t even got part of their order in that time!! I switched lanes and got served and left before them. Which was a shame as I wanted to let that server know that they were really slow and it’s unacceptable!! As the film was about to start..

You can’t even get free drink refills (but who’s watching?), the film started and it actually said get ready and recline your seat, it wasn’t a seat that could be reclined.

I nearly forgot to mention… it’s a huge cinema 30 screens and two soft drink machines?? And… The drinks machine went blank when I was going to use it and ended up with some mad cherry, Vanilla Coke Zero - nasty!

The service was poor and the seating was cramped! Would I go again?? Probably not!

I travelled from Coventry and next time I’ll probably stick to The Showcase in Coventry that has better service and all seats are recliners and have more room. It might cost more but is cleaner and easier to find your seat in the dark. These seats feel grimy even in the dark like that video of social media of the dirty seats on public transportation in central London. And at other cinemas soft drinks are refillable - for the price you pay for these drinks at any cinema they should be free refills for drinks and popcorn!! The popcorn I asked for was sweet and salty, but seemed to be a mix of all types. Even the popcorn troughs looked dirty and greasy. The place needs a deep clean!

I went years ago to the Vue, obviously I had forgotten...

WORST CINEMA EXPERIENCE EVER. The customer service is ALWAYS shockingly poor and incredibly slow. Despite arriving at 6:05, we weren't served until 6:45, thankfully only missing the trailers. Despite the abundance of workers, the service was abysmally slow and amateurish, they seem like kids who have no idea what they are doing, and wouldn’t know what good customer service is if it hit them in their faces! One worker was about to serve us, told us to “wait one minute” and then disappeared into thin air? I then saw him pretending to rearrange the doritos for absolutely no reason?? Then eventually an equally inexperienced and slow worker finally served us, the service ended with him telling us there are no napkins and offered us kitchen roll!? The place was also disgustingly dirty, with sweets and popcorn strewn all over the floor, it looked like the whole cinema has never been cleaned before or even faced a vacuum cleaner and mop. Also during the movie, there was a lot of talking, adults nattering away, and children screaming and crying, and not a single worker removed those loud people from the room. The screen was also very small and dark, could barely even see the film. A truly dreadful experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

The good: it's a lovely clean, modern cinema with plenty of screens and the possibility of easily delivering a great experience. They also have plenty of sanitiser stations too. The bad: massive queues, hugely inefficient staffing, the ticket touchscreens charge you extra for using them and the parking, though free, is awful to get out of at peak: 10-20 minutes just to get out of the car park! COVID BAD: The touchscreens never get cleaned from one hour to the next, hundreds of people using them a day and no-one cleans them. The doors in to the movie screens could easily be left open with no noise or light issues but they keep them closed so everyone has to touch the door handles when coming and going including trips to the toilet. Worst of all judging from my experience today they're happy to pack us all in like sardines in a tin: 95% capacity! People were arguing and fighting over seating. Conclusion: Awful experience and shame on them for maximising profit over safety. Restrictions are relaxed sure, but let's not forget people are still getting infected and dying.
