Update: 1st Feb 2025 previously had 2 separate fish & Chinese meals that honestly were poor, that's all changed for us now Had 2 fish chips mushy peas & currie on 31st January absolutely delicious every bite was a treat staff are lovely our best to go chippy. Can’t really give an honest review as I’ve not managed to try the food yet. Tried 3 times after being turned away with them having set times selling Chinese food. The time I went in and it was the right day for Chinese food I waited 40 mins in the queue to be told they’d finished making Chinese again. They literally pick and choose when they make certain dishes and seem to be happy turning business away. They could at least put a sign up when they decide to stop making anything but chips. Not...

Pretty nice chips. Mum liked the peas. I had a chip barm, fresh and hot, although couldn't taste vinegar, even after requesting extra. Might be watered down.

The shop is a bit of a mess to know where to stand, order, pay, and collect.

Staff seemed to work orders one at a time, instead of having one person taking a few orders, and one person filling them. Resulted in a bit of a wait.

Acceptable pricing. Definitely worth a visit for chips, but room for improvement with service...
