Slightly confused writing this as most of the recent reviews offer very glowing appraisals of the service and food on offer. No particular issue with the service, though we did get asked by 3 different waiters if we were ready to order within the space of 2 mins, but the food is where the disappointment was. The burma chicken was decent, the mushroom chicken however was very bland. The sucuk was rather good, many restaurants use cheap produce whereas this was authentically prepared Turkish sausage. The pulled beef burgers were very bland, no indication that they’d been slow cooked in any form of marinade or seasoning. It’d be a stretch to say they had been prepared earlier and simply reheated purely because of how tepid the temperature was of the meat. Really expected more given how easy it is to make flavourful slow cooked ribs. The ribeye steak was good and commensurate with the price charged for a 350g cut of steak - probably the only dish I’d wholeheartedly recommend. The mocktails were lacklustre. Tasted like they’d just dispensed 3-4 measures of the respective monin syrup in tap water and added crushed ice. If you’ve got this far you’ll see there is some promise of the offerings here, hopefully they take note and make the effort to ensure they have a consistent kitchen service. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon, maybe we didn’t get the right items on the menu but then arguably they should have a more selective menu of dishes that they can...
Read moreThought give "Beefalo Meat House" a go, after passing several times over the recent weeks.
On first impressions walking in you realy do step back in awe of the place!! At each turn there is something that catches your eye an makes you want too explore the restaurant an bar area more.!! For the exspodes beams, the timber cladding, modern lighting too the live grass walls an blossom trees. The building / Resturant rely dose have an Intermat feeling whilst you dine.
Just a heads up this place "doesn't" serve alcohol on the premises but dose offer a wide range of soft drinks & mocktails. - They do allow you too bring your own Wine / spirts though if you wish!! Mixers available on request along with champagne chillers.
Regards the food!! Have too say we weren't blown away with what was served against how much the meal cost, both presentation/ quilty was lacking an was quite expensive. Given this place is ment be a specialist Meat / Grill Restuarnt, you would naturally expect this too be were they shine, Unfortunately this isn't the case an was little disappointed.
Too make up for the start though the Desert were amazing!! Upstairs is a cake, icream & sorbate parlour, an have say that the baklava is too die for!! Must try if ya go..
All the cakes / puddings are hand made individually in house.
Will give this place another go! think they were having an off night possibly...

My friend and I visited on Saturday 8th October. Starters- wrnt with shared Beefalo Steak Platter, 2 pieces of thinly sliced steak, 2 pieces of chicken and 2 jumbo prawns, both in a lovely sauce. Delicious start to our meal. Drinks - each had 2 bottles of Ginger Ale, rougha pint, then we had a non-alcoholic Pina Colada, very tasty. Mains - Tom went with Rib Eye, done medium rare and veg, I had Cheesy Sirloin, done well done and peppercorn sauce with grilled asparagus and veg. Gorgeous, we were both impressed with our choices, the atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. Now, desserts. You need to sort your bill out first before going upstairs. Came to £102. Went upstairs and Tom got 2...
