Electric Bowl — Local services in Calderdale

Staff member on the check in desk was very pleasant and the proccess of registering for the car park was very easy to do. My visit was not great as the toilets were rather dirty in the cubicles. Bar staff member was lovely too but a bit distracted with other tasks behind the bar so coupling this with my opinion of the cleanliness of the toilets, I don't see this to be a reflection of the staff that were working really and maybe just a staff numbering issue. I had a pint that seemed quite flat and the glass smelt a little funny making me not really want to drink it.

The bowling lanes themselves seemed looked after however I felt the selection of balls in regards to their weights and finger hole sizes were limited, there was plenty of balls but not enough of common sizes/weights. There were some arcade games running from the entrance towards the check in desk that looked interesting to play but I didn't feel comfortable to due to their placement. The bowling lanes, walkways and bar area were all very clean. They had the little tripod/guide things for children to use to bowl for each lane too.

Myself and my friend who I came with are aged 25 and I feel this wasn't a suitable place for us really and maybe (although I don't know how much it was exactly as my friend booked and paid) it would be better suited for a small group of children, maybe a child's birthday where this is their treat and been done on a budget. I used to be a very loyal member to this establishment for a number of years. The last time I went I had a great time playing pool. However I was surprised to receive a parking ticket in the post not too long after. I then proceeded to go to Electric Bowl during the day to speak to a staff member. To my amazement there was not one staff member in the pool or the snooker section. I left and now I have had to pay £170. Upon leaving I realised that where the terminal is to input my registration in was blocked by a group of young boys standing in the corridor.
