Brilliant service, fair price, helpful friendly drivers . I often use merryhill for shopping. having the taxis wheelchair accessible ready and waiting is a massive help for me personally being a single mom of three . I have one child 6mnths in pushchair one child age 4 and a son age 6 with severe autism ( the hyper style not quiet and shy . My sons like the energiser bunny he can't keep still he's not able to use most public transport because of some of his bad habits plus he has a pretty rare form of epilepsy where he has very regular muscle spasms . I myself also have epilepsy. It's a mission to have my boy on harness / reins a pushchair and a 4 Yr old who wants to explore, plus a trolly loaded of shopping . I always get help in and out of the vehicle with the kids and shopping , patience while I do I what I need to, plus a bit of friendly chat to cheer up a stressful busy day. I couldn't ask for much more . I never know what situation I could end up in when leaving the house, it is a pretty big deal . having this regular service gives me confidence a day away from home will be that...

Waterfront Cars were excellent yesterday with my 93 year old Nan who is a wheelchair user. Another local taxi company had let us down and would not come to collect us. I explained this to waterfront cars and although they were very busy the lady on the phone did all she could to help us and managed to get us a car. The taxi driver who arrived was very professional , kind and committed to his job. The taxi was clean and perfect for wheelchair users. He took my Nan back to a care home in Dudley and this meant my nans outing was a happy one (things such as transport mean a lot to vulnerable adults and this was her very first time out since being unable to walk). My aunt and family have been using waterfront taxis for over 20 years. Prior to moving into a nursing home my aunt lived in an upper floor flat, the drivers even used to take her shopping up to the front door as there was no lift, where do you get a service like that these days. They came to our rescue again on Friday as my aunt had an hospital appointment at Russell’s Hall hospital and she forgot to ring them until the last minute, they rearranged their schedule and a wheelchair taxi was with us within 10 mins.
