Best Chippy Hampden — Local services in Great Britain

i am just home from the best chippy empty handed i phoned at 10 peat 5 and was asked to come in 15 minutes to save me standing outside the shop i went at half 5 i said to the girl i phoned an order she asked me what i ordered i told her she said i will bring it out to you i will still standing outside in the rain at 6 oclock no update were my order was i could see it was not in the glass display i phoned to cancell my order and was told we are sorry it is buisy and nobody is allowed in the shop i sadi i know that ,that is why i phoned to collect it standing outside in the rain its very cold with no update is a shocking way to treat a customer i have been using this shop for many years now i am so angry and i dont think i will ever be back i understand that nobody is allowed in the shop but i think yous need a far better system tonight was a farce Come on there has been nobody allowed in takeaway shops for 3 weeks now you should have a system in place by now you were getting deliverys out the door quick enough when I said I phoned a delivery I should have been told it will be another half an hour 40 minutes and I would have said just forget it that was an hour wasted and home with no food for the kids and had to make something your reply is nowhere...

The food is delicious and freshly cooked. However, tonight I waited longer than I have ever waited for food to be delivered: almost two and a half hours. I wouldn't wait in the Ivy or the Ritz for that length of time. Neither Just East nor the restaurant informed me that my order would entail such a colossal wait. 80 minutes in I called the restaurant and was informed that the food would arrive in "15 minutes tops". It still hadn't arrived almost 50 minutes later. The order itself was quite small.

I wasted my whole evening which was essentially ruined over a meal. The food itself was delicious and warm and I no doubt would have enjoyed my repast more had I not been so hungry that I ate it all in under five minutes. The staff were apologetic and even added a freebie onto the order, but I'm still docking stars for that atrocious...

Best chippy, ordered 2xfish with chips, and hamburger supper, was it good,, yes it was excellent. Fish was large and thick with lovely soft golden batter, chip where overflowing in a separate box to the fish, the wife is very fussy, but enjoyed every bite of the hamburger supper, chips wher average but plentiful, But if it took a leaf out of the wee kelpy chippie in hellensburgh it would be definitely be the best chippy,, in my opinion it is the best chippy in Glasgow South side Staff very very busy with phone orders, and very friendly,, it now the chippy I will always use,, and I stay in Rutherglen with plenty of chippies around me,,, that's my opinion,,, try it for your self,,, you will not be...
