Dress Cheshire — Local services in Great Britain

Personal Opinion Only The shop is nice in a good location in the centre of the village which is beautiful. However, some items in this boutique, are in my opinion are over priced for second hand belongings in which some aren't current season and could purchase brand new for a little extra money.

Don't really agree/ like how the owner refers to "skinted or minted" in her advertisement as a 'description / label' of an individuals class in 2020 before purchasing in store, as many may prefer the condition, make and sizing of non designer labels to designer labels and I do not feel people should be considered as either ' skinted or minted' when determing which item they choose to purchase.

This is my opinion/ personal views/ feedback/ personal preference only and may differ from others.

As stated in my review above its my personal opinion ONLY and that of course will differ from others, but this is what google review is for, a chance for people to share their comments, views and feedback. I felt I would share my opinion and graded you one star due to my personal online shopping/ online viewing of your items and my own personal experience.

I did state that the shop was nice, as it is a nice shop, live in the village myself and its in a beautiful location. I do not feel my comments are negative in any form or off putting to other customers as you mentioned above. I am sure people will have their own opinions like mine and make their own mind up, not everyone will think the same or feel the same way.

Sadly, now though, it appears that I may have caused you some offence by sharing my own views as constructive feedback and this is evident due to the nature of your reply. Its disappointing that you may feel this way, as I did not intend to offend you, I provided an opinion and feedback and hope it may be useful to you in the future.

I merely stated that in my opinion the shop is let down by some of the items prices, as some of them are overpriced for second hand items, bar some sale items.

Yes, I did state that I did not agree with your commonly used phrase of " skinted or minted" because its not the type of terminology I am familiar with or would use myself. In my view it puts a label/ pressure on people who may wish to purchase a cheaper item from your shop due to their personal preference rather than being able to afford a more expensive item, and then being labelled as either ' skinted or minted" due to which products we as customers choose; ie the more expensive designer label or the high street brand.

As explained sometimes the quality of the high street brand is more appealing and better quality than the designer label attire and sometimes purchasing the high street brand is preferable, but I wouldn't class myself as skinted for purchasing a high street brand.

I graded this as 1 start as I felt off- put from purchasing .

In response to other comments - I am no way trying to 'deter new customers' and I am not " suggesting to google that your business is poor" its very sad you jumped to that conclusion as I never stated your business was poor.

I will always support local businesses and even more so during these challenging times. I always aim to provide feedback of my experience whether good or constructive feedback. I have never and still don't intend to leave any negative reviews for any business, and I do not feel this review is at all negative or not supporting local. I hoped that by me providing my opinion and feedback it may have proven useful to you.

I was only voicing mine as others have theirs and as a successful business owner myself of multiple successful businesses, I understand the struggles during these times. WARNING! DO NOT SELL/SHOP HERE! I’am absolutely taken a back by the treatment of this so called ‘shop’! I and I’m sure others put our trust into the hands of this establishment…’DRESS CHESHIRE’. On one hand of being looked at in a very unwelcoming way by what I have realised is the owner…’Christine’…long blonde hair and glasses who promotes herself regularly through videos on her social media claiming that anyone is welcome in her ‘shop’…couldn’t be further from the truth! Apart from having to chase the shop/her for monies owed for weeks and weeks. I had realised she had registered other peoples items on my account and inappropriately given me monies which were not mine while also missing out the items which I had actually given to her in complete trust. And in my case my items were of much higher value than the ones she had tried to pay me out for after a very lengthily process of trying to get into contact with her and getting any solid answers for explanation for why this had happened. This is clearly being run in a spoofing mannerism and a completely sham! I have been aware of others who have had the same experience. The excuse for holding monies owed to others for such long periods was that, ‘that’s just how they do it’! WELL BE AWARE! i know this Christine to be honest and hard working individual,she is kind, Christine can not do enough for her customers and has exceptional customer service skills, all the goods in Dress Cheshire are very reasonably priced and the shop itself is beautiful it’s like walking into a really high-end boutique, if you want a wonderful shopping experience then go to Dress Cheshire , only down fall is you want to spend all day in there as so many Beautiful Items , i was like a kid in a candy store literally i was like Veruca salt I want it all , give it to me now !!!! not only will you be treated like royalty you can come away with some amazing bargains high-quality great products at a fraction of the prices of Paris or Milan or Italy but a lovely experience , the staff are lovely kind friendly accommodating they’ll tell you if the item suits you or not, they’re not just wanting the sale and I think that speaks volumes for the shop so well done Christine for running such a wonderful establishment and everybody in the area go to dress Cheshire because I cannot recommend it enough, five stars all the way don’t forget it’s Wedding season coming up perfect place for mother of the bride outfit or if you just want to bring to Glam to...
