Indian Thali — Restaurant in Great Britain

Whilst staying in Prestbury, we had dinner at Indian Thali restaurant. It was the most authentic food I had since traveling in India. The butter chicken is out of this world, and the mixed Thali was delicious. The flavors are complex, with some heat, but not my-lips-are-burning hot. And so much food! Chef Gulam Moktadir is certainly a talented chef. I can attest to the consistent quality of the food, because we drove the 40 miles here from our friend's place to have them try it just the days later. (There is parking right behind the restaurant! ) We ordered the exact same dishes, which were exactly as perfect as the first time. Now our friend's are saying it's worth the drive, and they'll be back. Try this restaurant! You will come based on the recommendation, but you will return for the exquisite food, the lovely ambiance including sweet Indian music, and personable...

£37.95 (my half with partner) for the first picture including Naan and Poppadoms on the side. Ordered the Meat B alongside Masala Fries which is about £45 (Uber eats pricing).

Very disappointed. For the Meat B, this is not worth it given the portion sizes. I understand it’s for two, but honestly barely any curry in this.

Edit: Changed to 1* because im still in shock on how little food I got. Just got an Indian share box and game with double the food for £20. Wouldn’t recommend here given quality was bland.

Chips and Poppadoms were really good + good delivery which is why I’ve done a 2* review and not been totally unfair.
