I was a guest of a 12 person dinner party here last night. I want to highlight the fact that the service was really, really impressive. Almost invisible in the sense that the staff were so well-trained that you finished eating one course & you hardly noticed that your plate was being removed, or that you were being asked so seamlessly if you wanted more wine or water. They got all the angles correct - we didnât have to move or adjust in the slightest - so we just went on talking & laughing & hence the service was not INTRUSIVE. In any way. We had a mix of table dâhote and a la carte menu but nothing was too much trouble and any personal tastes willingly accommodated. It was fairly quiet at the time we were there so we were lucky to have more than one waiter serving but each gave us excellent, friendly attention. I love quality food and quality linen and was not disappointed. The food was superb and cooked to perfection. I ordered the crab spring roll with mango salsa. Spring roll pastry was very delicate and freshly cooked to order. For main course I ate pork. The meat was nicely cooked but a bit dry.
