Oriental Garden — Local services in Great Britain

I love this place. Have been here many times over the last few years and am never disappointed with anything I order, (which is usually salt and chilli king prawns without garlic, chicken fried rice and bbq sauce), give or take a dish or two. Its always fresh and hot, always delicious, quite possibly my all time favourite takeaway EVER!!! That said, I rarely give good reviews, (ask my children!!), but tonights takeaway is deserving of one. Mostly because the staff waited for me to arrive as I was later than id said, (by half an hour at least and they were waiting to close). My most favourite lady, who almost always takes my order, was waiting on the door and welcomed me with a hug and smile and of course my order. I always leave there smiling as she is as good, if not better than the food and I cant even imagine going anywhere else for a chinese meal in a 30 mile radius of Carmarthen. Ok I think ive gushed over this place, it's beautiful food and even better service by a wonderfully friendly and adorably fun lady. Aaaahhhhhh!...

This is an unusual situation. I'm giving this takeaway 5 stars even though I threw half of my food away.

Firstly, they are busy so order way before your desired eating time, at the minimum allow 30 minutes. Also they are one of the only chinese takeaway that takes card payment in the area but it is £20 minimum spend which doesn't bother me. So onto the food itself. Prawn crackers light and as good as they get! 5stars. Chicken balls, I've eaten lots in my time, these are the best. House special fried rice, again the best. Rather disappointingly the sweet and sour sauce was inedible absolutely foul..... beansprouts/onion side dish. Raw dipped in salt water again inedible but due to the rest of the food being the best I've ever had it's still got 5 stars. Parking outside easy if there is space if not plenty of car...

Simply the best chinese food we've had in Wales, and believe me we have tried a lot of restaurants and takeaways so far and we have huge expectations from places and people that serve food in general. The owner/chef promised us tasty food and indeed exceeded our expectations. Delicious and big portions too. That's how chinese food should be served. So happy to have found this place. Well done guys! You should be proud of yourselves, you definitely deserve it! Oh, and the young man at the reception was really helpful and friendly.
