We are rather gourmand and always on the lookout for new flavours to try. We thought we would order the 7kcal chocolates first. They are more like mini chocolate cakes, as they come with different types of fillings - they remind me of European desserts as they are as moist as they should be and taste like heaven! We also tried the Salted Caramel cupcakes. I have to say I'm not a fan of salted caramel, but could not resist eating the whole cupcake after taking the first bite. Just beautiful!

I also ordered the mixed box of 7kcal chocolates and the vegan mixed box of 7kcal chocolates for a special occasion celebration and they went down a treat! Very grateful, as my friend and I who are monitoring our blood sugar levels can enjoy these chocolates without worrying too much about it, as they are sugar-free! Plus, the presentation is fabulous - the boxes are so elegant and the wax seal is a special and unusual feature.

Of course we had to try some savoury snacks, too. We tasted the bacon and cheese muffins, which were a lovely addition to our breakfast, and the cheese pie, which was iiiiincredible! We have tried similar cheese pies, as we are big fans of cheese, but it is very hard to get the right balance for this type of pie, as it can turn out too hard or too bland. The Pinch of Taste cheese pie has fantastic soft dough and the cheese filling is very generous and enhanced by the herbs, they really do add to it!

Pinch of Taste is an outstanding chocolatier and patisserie. Their protein range, especially the protein bites, truffles and bars, is absolutely phenomenal. The quality is unlike anything else out there. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, rich and flavourful, and nothing like your typical protein snacks. It’s more like having a luxurious dessert or decadent chocolate bar! Truly a game changer for me as I’ve tried some many crappy protein bars before. The bars from pinch are so good I actually bulk buy them and keep some in the freezer (which is totally fine and doesn’t affect the quality!)

I originally came in to try the protein range, but once I was in the shop I had to try their Dubai chocolate. I’ve had the real deal in Dubai before, and theirs captures that same powerful, complex flavour in every bite. In fact I’d say it’s the best Dubai chocolate I’ve ever had. The quality of the ingredients and attention to detail is on another level! The price is more than fair for what you get. £20 for a large bar and £4.95 for a small one, and the large bar is massive – genuinely the size and weight of a house brick.

The team at Pinch are always lovely, friendly and helpful. Visiting is a wonderful experience every time. This is a one of a kind spot and a must visit for any chocolate lover, or those looking for a chocolatey protein fix with the most delicious and amazing...

Terrible service, I order a cake for 6 persons from 18 Apr! for 5 May 12:30. I prepaid 35 GBP for ! In the date to take my birthday cake shop open 13: 00, ok with this (I was suppose to be informed about this in the day which I give the order but what ever), also to mention 5 May 2024 it is the Eastern day for Orthodox so having in mind the owner is this religion like me and maybe is not working( which is very natural), so if they are not working, some one from the shop to get in touch with me and I am able to collect even on Saturady ( I was informing this when I give the order), but of course did no one did that to get in contact, so I get in my 12:30 on the shop, I waited when the shop get open I get in, I ask about my order and .... my order it was not there! The employ send a message to whom ever it was responsabil for, but she did not get any response. I wait until 13:30 when I left! I get a phone from the shop on 14:30, when I was all ready 10 miles from Glasgow(after I was on Victoria Road and I bought other cake) and I tell them to keep it! What bardor me is this kind of thing are made by my own compatriots!! At least me if it was my fault, I was having the decency to make the call by my self and say "Sorry, I made a mistake, is my mistake" or how we are saying in Greek, Συγνώμη, αδελφε εκανα μια μαλακια!!!
