We went along for the first time yesterday. We were very pleasantly surprised. I can only base my review on my day of visiting. I am aware on different days there us different staff and some people may encounter different experiences. However, on my visit, the lady at reception was super helpful to this very sleep deprived mum during the summer holidays who didn't add myself to the booking (I know..) lol. But she sorted it all out for me, no problems, and even when I repeated the direction she gave me wrongly, she guided me where to go (I would get lost in a shoe box)

The saftey video was good, and I have to admit I was ready for a battle (due to my girl not being able to understand the video as she has learning disabilities, but obviously me being the adult I did and she even said you can put your socks on whilst your listening..as long as you listen (Gravity made me watch that video three times the last time because I looked away to tend to my disabled child) , but no battle was had they were well experienced and knowledgeable in the fact I could hear it and didn't have to watch it to hear it) so well done guys. Staff approached me as we were on the trampolines and asked if we wanted the music down, which was lovely. The young man on the grass slide was awesome at assisting my daughter at the bottom of the slide as I pushed her down and tried to get down on time, lol. Did I mention I was on my own with my girl so as a single parent my job was already harder , so being in two places at once is difficult, although I do try my best. But staff were amazing.

I was warned not to use the cafe by friends as it isn't always clean and it would be far too noisy for my girl so can't comment on the cafe.

But the facilities we used were clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful and very very aware of disabilities and gave my girl space to do her thing without correcting her (she likes to lay down a lot, which it says not to do on the saftey video BUT the staff could obviously see it was something she needed to do so as long as no one was round her she was fine to do what she needed to do as she was a bit overwhelmed) so well done everyone for your understanding.

However, I kinda have to mention the two members of the team on the e carts who I needed to speak to. They are young and were enjoying their flirting and being in each others company, which was kinda cute... BUT.. I had to speak to them which I did away from the other parents and in a calm polite manner and told them whilst my daughter was on the e carts they had to stop talking to each other for that whole 3 minutes. I instructed them that one needed to be at the bottom of the track and one at the top whilst the kids were driving. They needed to pay attention. I showed them some basic go and stop signs. I apologised if I seemed like a Karen, BUT there is staff there for a reason, so they must keep an eye on the kids. My girl, like many other children need all eyes on them at all times. Credit due they did listen and followed my instructions and worked for the time my girl was on the e carts , the male assisted my daughter when she got stuck and for that three minutes they did their job. However, I have to say I would expect them to do that with every child. I don't understand why other parents would accept that lowered standard of care and supervision on moving equipment either, but there we are.

However, all being said, we will be back next week as my girl can't...

Before you read this please understand that I am always fair and honest with my reviews. If I leave a low score there is reasons for it.

My Google profile has reviewed a lot of businesses in Glasgow and in Europe over the years and I enjoy leaving good honest reviews for others to read so they can get a better understanding of what a business is like.

From the moment the lassie at the door spoke to us I knew we were just another number, not a customer.

REVIEW Fun for the kids, a defo yes! But I believe the management and owners should have their staff retrained on how to work with the public in a friendly manner.

Two staff we witnessed treating other customers like dirt. This business does not have customer satisfaction built into it at all.

We were refused entry with socks we bought in another Flip out branch just because they were a different colour, so we bought new socks only to find it was the same make brand/make of socks, again just another way of making the business money, customer satisfaction a no, more policies, yes.

Then we were charged a further £1 per adult because we were waiting for our kids in the cafe. Our kids are 8 of course we are waiting and I was looking forward to a coffee and something to eat.

Once you get into the arena it is very well setup with plenty of arrows and instructions. There are plenty of trampolines for the amount of people playing. And plenty of options for them to go to different areas of the arena.

The decor is very cool with lots of very impressive wall art and graffiti.

We got to the cafe to find hardly any seats and extortionate prices. To be fair the coffee was nice but the rest average. And there are a few windows for you to keep an eye on the action below but seeing your kids is nearly impossible.

Luckily our kids are well versed and confident enough to know we're we were in the cafe and return every 15 mins to check in.

When we did we found another money maker. Again over priced slushy and sweets in a very fancy store section within the cafe area.

And you'll also find slot machines everywhere, the type that has claws and gaming ones too.

The whole experience is based on getting as many people through the doors per day and getting a max spend out of them at every turn.

Be prepared for staff at the door telling you that they have terms and conditions and policies for every charge they go to put on you. You must pay or you must get out. It's in the terms. 🫣

We go to a lot of places with our kids and I like to leave knowing the following:

Kids had Fun ✅ Adults enjoyed their time there ✖️ Staff were of a high standard ✖️ Value for money ✖️ Toilets were clean ✅ Coffee was good ✅

I was hoping to go here and leave a great review. But unfortunately we just got a bad taste...

We did the after school session, which included an hours play & meal. It had been a while since we had attended Flip Out. Both myself & the kids were amazed at how much it had changed & how many new activities there were. There were that many that unfortunately getting to do everything in the hour time slot was just not possible. They managed to try out the new bumper cars, to me sort of reminded me of the dodgems however they spin just for that extra fun element. All you could hear was joy & laughter from the kids. There was an inflatable part, I think it had a big slide inside, there's that much to pick from the kids were a bit overwhelmed as to which activity to do when. They went down the big slope that you sit in a rubber ring to go down, the lighter you are, the faster you seem to go. At every activity there is an attentive staff member making sure everyone is enjoying the activity safely, this made it enjoyable for myself knowing that if one of the children decided to do a different activity to the other I didn't have to try split myself in two or tell them no they would have to wait. There are height restrictions on things & some if under you can go on with an adult. The laser quest part was a favourite for a few of the kids. It is very well done. It resembles parts of Glasgow & has different levels & many spots to hide from opponents. The kids went into a briefing room to start, with a member of staff who explained safety rules. I think they watched a short safety video too. I could watch them going round shooting each other from the viewing point, which was great, got a good laugh at them ducking & diving trying not to get shot. The soft play part is still there along with the basketball area & what I call the gladiator part where they each have to get the other off the balance beam. The food included in the after school deal had decent options to pick from, our kids had the pizza slice, burger & chicken nuggets that all came with chips & drink. They seemed to enjoy it & got to watch a film on the projector screen while they ate too. There seems to be more activities being added for the future. We can't wait to go back to do the parts missed & do it all again. I couldn't fault it, clean, safe, with friendly helpful attentive staff & a whole lot of fun. The after school session for what's included is an absolute steal in my books. Definitely be booking it many times...
