Read moreI loved Pittenweem the whole atmosphere of the place so relaxing, people very friendly. The lovely character houses and the beautiful harbour which all stood out. Took me back in time to when the fisherfolk caught the fish. I wonder did the women here in Pittenweem also carry their men on their back's to the boats as the women did in other fisher Towns. But otherwise, it's just a residential area with bellicose ... fishing industry workmen who've bought the parking around the harbor and stalk any unsuspecting tourists parking there.
