Our party of five and two cockapoos having walked from Cellardyke to Pittenweem, arrived tired and hungry, but delighted to see The ClockTower , as we knew lunch would be excellent. Having enjoyed a delicious brunch there last year we had great expectations and we were not disappointed. Immediately, without prompting the dogs were given a bowl of fresh water and doggy treats. We ordered 5 different lunches, all of which was freshly cooked, well presented and delicious. The staff sourced the return bus to Cellardyke times for us, which was wonderful. Read moreWe were meeting a friend who suggested this cafe as having a good reputation amongst the locals, and we definitely don't regret it. It's bigger than you think, the people are friendly and the food is good. We started by having coffee, and ended up staying quite a bit longer and having a delicious Cullen Skink - full of flavour. Good coffee too. There is a small step at the entrance, and another about half way down the cafe - something to bear in mind if you use a wheelchair, although I'm sure they would help. We stumbled across this delightful place whilst walking through a very windy Pitemweem with road works that were causing chaos! The food was excellent, the choice very wide and although we only had the afternoon tea it was excellent and we saw other meals going out which looked fabulous. The staff clearly enjoy their work.
