The Jetty — Restaurant in South Hams

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere when busy. service team worked well.

The food however is really no where near the prices they are charging.

Prawn popcorn - do not order this its very expensive for a shell with a few fried bits that resemble prawns. I would actually take this off the menu

the beef, which was priced at £31 had the texture of a used boot, presented terribly, i did not finish this, ive not had beef presented that way and cooked to the point of no texture, the potato that it came with was uncooked in the middle.

I do not recommend the food at its current price and quality. a very basic menu with a top tier price tag.

the staff were friendly and on the ball during our meal, the atmosphere was warm...

I'm giving The Jetty 5 stars instead of 4 because of our waiter, Flynn, he was FANTASTIC! He was whip smart, funny, and really good at his job. Actually, all the staff that we spoke to were lovely.

The views were absolutely stunning, and the restaurant itself was lovely.

The food was nice/ok and beautifully presented, but portions on the small side, and prices on the high side. The mixed fish special was delicious, but the fish in the fish and chips was only ok. Chips good, though. The menu had a nice selection of dishes, and they had a fresh...

The amosphere was nice and the service was friendly. However, I would never eat here again.

It took nearly two and a half hours for our food to arrive after being seated. This would make more sense if it was a busy period but the restaurant was relatively empty (it was 8pm). We were not warned that there would be any delays.

Two of our party became quickly unwell from the food. It appears that either the prawns or mussels were not fresh.

The rest of the food seemed okay. I would never...
