Needs a huge face lift with good quality shops. High street brands to attract more people to visit. There's more to life than phone shops and sports shops! Take a away the cheapness as this gives the impression of low level clientele!! I visit Wilkinsons, Savers, coop bank sainsbuurys, Specsavers, Iceland, Primark , Debenhams . We need Clarks back. Marks n S. ADAMS etc. It's not an attractive place to visit anymore!😡 Too many cheapy shop...we need some not all. Too many takeaways. Bring back Chicos? Bring back large supermarkets. Not everyone has a car to travel for food shopping! Because the council has neglected this area and town centre it is now attracting crime, violence and arguments during the day. Homeless people in shop door ways on benches in the bus station. Drug addicts. The greedy companies that SOLD CHATHAM OUT TO BLUEWATER , ARE RESPONSIBLE SIBLE FOR THEIR SHORT SIGHTEDNESS. NO CARE NOR CONCERN FOR QUALITY NOR THE NEEDS OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY NEEDED AND HOW TO MAKE THE TOWN FLOURISH AND ENGENDER A WAY OF LIFE FOR FAMILIES. LARGE NUMBERS OF SCHOOL CHILDREN HANGING AROUND THE MOUNTAINOUS FAST FOOD SHOPS, SPORTS SHOPS AND MOBILE PHONE SHOPS. NAIL SHOPS !!!
